Concept An evergreen palette of plants will welcome visitors and residents as they enter the building through the laneway garden. Variation in plant texture, form and shades of green will foster a garden atmosphere.
Anticipated Site ConditionsThe Laneway Garden is North-facing, however it is anticipated to be heavily shaded due to its ground level position and the adjacent built form. Due to it's lane-way location, the site is likely to be relatively protected from wind and rain. Irrigation may be required .

Enveloping garden bed
Concept The Entertaining garden will cocoon visitors in a collection of loosely formed gathering spaces, directing their view to the established tree canopies of Victoria Parade. The vegetation will also provide a level of privacy to the apartments adjacent to the terrace.
Anticipated Site ConditionsThe Entertainment Garden is South-facing and will receive little direct sun throughout the seasons. The site may be relatively exposed and will likely require a level of wind mitigation to improve year-round comfort.

Concept The Wellness Garden will provide a serene space for residents to take in the city view or practice self care activities like Yoga or Pilates. The perimeter garden will envelope residents, keeping them away from the rooftop edge while providing the space with a greater sense of intimacy.
Anticipated Site ConditionsThe Wellness Garden is anticipated to receive a high level of natural light throughout the year by virtue of its elevated position. The site may be relatively exposed and will likely require a level of wind mitigation to improve year-round comfort.
