    Requirements to ApplyA. All candidates seeking a scholarship or need-based

    grant must be interviewed by a member of the Admissions Team.

    B. A 250-word (minimum) essay (separate from the admissions essay) explaining: Knowledge of program/field of interest Desire to work in industry Need for funding support

    Entry SubmissionThe completed application form, 250-word essay, and any supporting materials must be sent to [email protected], faxed to 604.684.8839, or mailed to 2665 Renfrew Street, Vancouver, BC V5M 0A7.

    (Supporting materials are not required, but candidates may include samples of work, letters of recommendation, video testimonials, etc.)

    general Competition guidelinesAwards Individual awards range in value from $1,000 to $5,500.

    deadlines Awards are granted on a first-come, first-served basis.

    ConditionsAward recipients must take a minimum of 12 credits per term for the duration of their study. Recipients must maintain satisfactory progress. Awards will be suspended in the term of study if the students cumulative grade point average falls below 2.0.

    Other Conditions Awards granted by The Art Institute of Vancouver may be used only at The Art Institute of Vancouver. In the event the education is terminated by either The Art Institute of Vancouver or the student, the award becomes null and void. The award is not redeemable for cash, nor can it be applied against fees, housing, living expenses, or program supplies. It may not be transferred between affiliate schools of The Art Institutes.
