Award Winner – one of only five schools NATIONWIDE to receive this award.

• Crescenta Valley High - Girls Basketball - CIF Champions

• Glendale High Dance Team - National Champions (17 years)

• Hoover High Marching Band - State Champions

• Rosemont Middle School has seven (7) competitive sports, led by 20 volunteer coaches, involving nearly 300 students.

• Edison Elementary has an Aquatics program for 4-6 graders

• Dunsmore Elementary celebrates “Fit Fridays.” They walk together every Friday morning (weather permitting).

CELEBRATING FITNESS AND HEALTH

• Roosevelt Middle School - Over 100 students participated in the LA Run4Fun; 7th grade girls and boys came in 3rd out of 50 teams.

• Cerritos-Edison-Marshall-Mann Elementary schools participate in the One-Glendale After School Sports program (flag football, volleyball, basketball & soccer)

• Verdugo Woodlands Elementary FLAG Japanese class celebrates Sports Day (Undokai) annually inviting family and friends to join in the festivities.
