    0.1 This Indian Standard was adopted by the for planning of any category of hospitals. Matrix is given for 5 categories of hospitals,organizational classification. that is, for 30, 100, 250, 500 ( teaching and non-teaching ) and 750 ( teaching and non-teaching )2. FUNCTIONAL CLASSIFICATION, CODE bedded hospitals. In case where X is marked inNUMBER AND MATRIX the matrix, it means the requirement should exist2.1 The functional classification in alphabetical and where 0 is marked, means the requirementorder along with code number and matrix is given is optional.
