The  first  Noel  the  angel  did  say          was  to  certain  poor  shepherds    in  fields  as  they  lay;      in  fields  where  they  lay  keeping  their  sheep,      on  a  cold  winter's  night  that  was  so  deep.      REFRAIN: Noel,  Noel,  Noel,  Noel,   born  is  the  King  of  Israel.    They  looked  up  and  saw  a  star    shining  in  the  east,  beyond  them  far;    and  to  the  earth  it  gave  great  light,    and  so  it  continued  both  day  and  night.  [Refrain]

We  three  kings  of  Orient  are;  bearing  gifts  we  traverse  afar,  field  and  fountain,  moor  and  mountain,  following  yonder  star.  

 REFRAIN:      O,  star  of  wonder,  star  of  night,    star  with  royal  beauty  bright;    Westward  leading,  still  proceeding,    guide  us  to  thy  perfect  light.    Glorious  now  behold  him  arise,  King  and  God  and  Sacrifice:  Alleluia!  Alleluia!  sounds  through  the  earth  and  skies.  [Refrain]
