Did you know? College Church has officially “Adopted” Roosevelt Elementary School! In partnership with the Nampa School District, College Church has been paired with Roosevelt as a community resource partner. The purpose of our partnership is to provide the school principal, counselor, and social worker a willing and able community to help meet the needs of some of their students. Typically these school personnel do not have a resource to help when faced with specific needs for their young learners. We are now that resource. Specific needs are: 1. Waterproof winter gloves - new or gently used for elementary aged children. Bring to church office.2. Male Mentors - men willing to volunteer 1 hour per week (after a short training) to meet during lunch or recess with a child. The purpose is simply to build a relationship and be a presence in their life. They would love to have 5 of these mentors. Women are welcome too but men are greatly needed! For more information contact Pastor Mike: [email protected]
