As the contest aims at the development of inter- national relations, and the promotion of the Russian language and culture, participants are requested to sing one of their contest songs in Russian, while the other song should be sung in the official language of the country the singer repre- sents. Contest performances are judged by an interna- tional panel of judges and this year’s event has a really strong main judging panel, consisting of five reputable producers, composers and singers from different corners of the globe.
