the Independent Pricing & Regulatory Tribunal (“IPART”) of NSW.

The resident owns the panels.

2. What are maintenance obligations on the resident? The solar arrays have no moving

parts, there is minimal maintenance; and

Typically cleaning once every 6 – 12 months.

Q&A1. Can the panels be insured?

All insurance companies are different, typically they have been included in home and contents insurance at no extra cost.

2. What is the warranty on the installation, inverter and Solar Array? 10 years for the installation & inverter;

and 25 years for the solar panels.

Q&A1. What happens if damage is done

during the installation? The installers carry insurance, this

insurance covers any damage done during installation;

2. How sturdy are the panels? They have been tested to withstand

a 16 pound bowling ball dropped from 3 stories.
