Beijing, the capital city of China, functions as the country's
political center, cultural center and international
communication center. Beijing was the capital cities of six
Chinese ancient dynasties. The city owns a long history of
more than 3,000 years, regarded as one of the greatest
ancient capitals of the world. Beijing houses a great many
attractions, among them, the Great Wall, the Summer Palace,
the Temple of Heaven, Ming Tombs, the Forbidden City and
the Tiananmen Square are definitely where you must see. As
an ancient capital city, Beijing owns a long history and
profound culture. Old tradition of Beijing has unique charm
in the modern times. You can experience the traditional
Beijing in the Yonghelong Lama Temple, Drum Tower & Bell
Tower, Nanluoguxiang, Beihai Park and Jingshan Park. Beijing
embodies splendid culture with a long history of more than
3000 years. This prosperous metropolis is famous for owning
various modern places including SOHO, Sanlitun Bar Street,

Day 1: Arrive in Beijing
Upon your arrival in Beijing, you will be met outside the baggage claim area and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day will be
free for you to enjoy this amazing city
Day 2: Beijing
Begin your explorations in Beijing by paying a visit to the largest city square in the world, Tiananmen Square. We make our way across
the road to the magnificent Forbidden City, one of the most recognizable landmarks and cultural symbols of China as the former royal
residence for five centuries. After the tour of the Forbidden City the day continues with a visit to Summer Palace, the massive garden
and summer resort for royal members only during the imperial times. (B)
Day 3: Beijing
Today, the first stop is the Mutianyu Great Wall, a comparatively less tourist-trodden part of the 1,400-year-old fortification system.
An easy, comfortable round-trip cable car transfer over the picturesque scenery is included while certain amount of time would be
given for you to climb the wall. On the way back to downtown, you will have a stopover at the Bird's Nest and Water Cube. You will
hop on a rickshaw for a Hutong Tour through the most characteristic, maze-like neighborhood. Back to the hotel after the trip. (B)

Day 4: Beijing-Xian
The sightseeing today starts with a visit to the remarkable Temple of Heaven, where emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties performed
ceremonies and rituals to pray for good harvest and blessing on the country. Afterwards, you would be taken to the railway station
for the high speed rail train to Xian, which takes approximately 5 hours, and along the way, feel free to admire a totally different
scenery of the countryside. Upon arriving at the Xian North Station, the tour guide would pick you up and escort you to the hotel. (B)
Day 5: Xian
The highlight of the touring planned for you today is the world-renowned Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses. This site is reputed as the
largest underground military base in the world. In the afternoon, head for the Xian Museum, a museum housing 130,000 pieces of
archeological items and then to explore the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, one of the two most significant Buddhist pagodas in Xian, which
was built around early 8th century. (B)
Day 6: Xian
Today you will have the opportunity to explore the ancient Xian City Wall, the largest and best-preserved wall extant in China now,
running 13.75km, enclosing the old capital. In the middle of the old block of Xian stands the Great Mosque, the oldest and biggest
Islamic mosque in the country, determined to have been built in mid-7th century. Around the mosque is the Muslim Street that is
bustling every day with loads of the most authentic fine eateries and souvenirs shops. Also we would stop at the nearby Bell Tower &
Drum Tower Square for some great photo opportunities.(B)
Day 7: Xian-Lhasa
Today you will be transferred to Xian Airport for your flight to Lhasa. Upon arrival, you would be met by your tour guide and transferred
to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure for you to relax and adapt to the unusual environment and high altitude. (B)
Day 8: Lhasa
The agenda today includes the imposing Potala Palace, the sacred, mysterious palace dating back to 7th century and the spiritual
centre of Tibetan people thereafter. After lunch we pay a visit to the Jokhang Temple, the most divine and respected Buddhist temple
among locals and pilgrims, with a history of over 1,300 years. Barkhor Street encircling the temple is the most bustling commercial
area in downtown Lhasa and draws in hundreds of pilgrims to perform rituals on it daily. The last stop of the day is a visit to the Lhasa
Nunnery. (B)

Day 9: Lhasa
Today's exploration covers the overwhelming summer resort of Dalai Lama of several generations, the Norbulingka. This afternoon
visit the notable Sera Monastery, which is most famed for the daily Lama Scripture debate. (B)
Day 10: Lhasa-Shanghai
You will be transferred to Lhasa Airport for your flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, you would be met by your tour guide and transferred
to the hotel. (B)
Day 11: Shanghai
This morning commence your tour of Shanghai with a visit to the Shanghai Museum, a massive museum housing over 140,000 pieces
of artifacts, displaying the history and cultural scene of Shanghai. Afterwards take a walk at The Bund, the most prestigious landmark
and best-preserved demonstration to the glamour of the old Shanghai, and Nanjing Road, the busiest shopping area in the metropolis
or even across the whole China. In the afternoon, visit Yuyuan Garden, where you can marvel at the stunning view of the garden and
enjoy a local experience by strolling around the nearby Chenghuang Miao bazaars, and New Spot (XinTianDi). (B)
Day 12: Departure day / Shanghai
Today please arrange your own way to the airport for your homeward flight since the group's guests don' t have the coordinating
agenda after the scheduled tour. (B)
Note: A transfer from your hotel to Hongqiao or Pudong Airport in Shanghai is available upon request at a surcharge. Optional tours
to Suzhou, Hangzhou etc are also available.
