Car Show 09/09/18

The 11th Annual Southern California MG Club's Boots & Bonnets Car Show was kicked off by club President Michael Lee who thanked this year’s show coordinator, Carl Palczewski, for organizing our event and introduced the Board members and thanked them for their contributions in making this a show case for MG enthusiast and for those with an interest in our MG car culture. Michael also thanked the Automobile Driving Museum for providing the venue site and the ice cream shop for everyone to enjoy.

Almost all years and MG models were well represented as the

display continued to grow throughout the morning.

CLASS A –- MG Pre-War & T-

Series Open Tourer (1924-1955), First Place Winner was Richard Johnson.

CLASS C - MGA (1955-1962)

[Roster, Coupe], First Place Winner was Peter Puzo.

CLASS D - MGB

Roadster Chrome Bumper Cars (1962 -1974) [Mark I, Mark II, Mark III], First Place Winner was Dan & Ann McLean.

CLASS E -MGB GT (1965-1980 and MGC GT (1967-

1973) First Place Winner was Ivor Philips.

CLASS F -MGB Roadster (1974

1/2 - 1980) [Mark III Rubber Bumper], First Place Winner was Jay Cohen.

CLASS G - MG Midget (1965) [Chrome Bumper] First Place Winner was Mark Vierra

Peter PUZO said that he “loved the weather, venue and how well attended with an array of quality cars!” Peter also sends kudos to Adam who did a stellar job as master of ceremonies; and Peter said “the quality trophies were first class!”

Ken BRION said he “enjoyed the show” and he liked the new quarters of the Car Show.

Jim HEATON said that this setting at the ADM was a perfect venue to showcase the MG cars. We plan on having many more shows there in future years."
