Welcome address
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
On behalf of Serbian Society of Toxicology, Scientific and Orga-nizing Committee, I am honoured to extend a warm welcome to all participants in the 11th Serbian Congress of Toxicology. We are
delighted that so many of you have decided to join us here in Sremski Karlovci a town situated on the bank of the river Danube.
Under the theme of New Frontiers and Challenges in Toxicology we have given all our efforts to cover a wide range of topics representing the latest scientific achieve-ments in different fields of toxicology. I would like to extend my special thanks to everybody who has contributed to this meeting, especially to our distinguished lecturers coming from different parts of Europe and USA.
Your participation in this Congress will make it a unique and successful event. Whether you are a lecturer, speaker, a student, a postdoc, or a poster presenter, you will have the opportunity to meet your colleagues, share your knowledge and experience with them, to network and build future collaborations.
Alongside the interesting scientific sessions, we offer you very attractive social pro-gram that includes the opening ceremony at monumental building of Patriarchy Residence, visit to some of the numerous monasteries and other cultural and his-torical heritage sites in this part of Serbia.
I wish you an exciting and valuable Congress and memorable stay in Sremski Karlovci.
