Do you enjoy drawing or watching anime? Are you interested in inventingnew anime characters? Then the Anime Club is for you. We will have ourfirst meeting on Thursday, December 3rd at 3:00 PM. Mrs. Gruen will bethe sponsor so we will meet in her room (D111). The club will gather the1st & 3rd Thursdays of each month. Permission slips are available in theMain Office. See you then!

If your student has lost a coat, lunchbox, folder, etc. we encourage your

student to look through the lost and found located in our

Cafetorium. The amount of items grows every day. Items not picked up

will be donated to charity on December 18th.

Make sure to order your copy of the EMS yearbook! Right now until

December 31st, you can purchase one for $25.00! Go to the Erie Middle

School website, look for the yearbook icon and order online!

A FRIENDLY REMINDER Calls for an absence are taken only by the EMS

Attendance Line at 720-652-8289. The number is also on the EMS website.

A note from our kitchen staff: Make sure to keep your students lunchaccount current, as according to Nutrition Service policy, middle schoolstudents are not allowed to charge a lunch when their account has runout. If you have any questions, you can call the main office or email

our Kitchen Manager, Marlene Gonzales at [email protected].

The National Junior Honor Society will be selling Candy Cane GramsstartingWednesday, December 7-December 11th. Send your friends,teachers, and staff members a candy cane to say you appreciate them for$0.75 cents a candy cane, or buy 5 for only two dollars! All proceedswill go to Operation Santa, who helps the Erie community provide holidaygifts to families in need. We are still looking for donations of candycanes to help us reach our goal of making sure each student gets one!

Erie High School is hosting an open house for current 8th grade parentson Thursday, December 9th, 6:00-8:00 pm. Come hear about what Erie Highhas to offer your student!
