In Excavator Mode, the Mecalac, with its 3-part equipment, behaves like a standardexcavator with 2-part equipment, thanks to the patented ram coupling system.

In Loader Mode, the Mecalac behaves like a standard loader, the operator having his lefthand on the steering wheel and his right hand on the manipulator.

In Mecalac Modes, the operator controls each equipment and accessory ram individuallyto meet particular situations.

The cab, in order to meet the FOPS and ROPS safety requirements, is particularlyspacious. With large glazed areas, you can see all of the equipment and siteenvironment. Separated from the engine, it has a very low sound level.

Comfort equipment : foldaway front windscreen, high-performance ventilation, filtering sun visor, multi-adjustable seat, (pneumatic seat asan option), very efficient air conditioning*, heating and defrosting, adjustable steering column...

Inching for a slow approach: This pedal permits a slow, precise approach whilst keeping theengine at maximum speed in order to deliver the power required tothe equipment.

Load Sensing for optimum pressure on theequipment:This system adapts the hydraulic pressure on the equipment tomeet the effort required.

10MSX SPECIFIC ADVANTAGE

The combination of this undercarriagewith constant four wheel drive gives the10MSX excellent handling abilities(outside turning radius of 4.85 m).Furthermore, its lightness coupled with itsexcellent abilities, enable it to work in themost difficult terrain, which makes it theideal machine for landscaping work.

Together with the articulated andoscillating undercarriage , the transversearrangement of the engine in the rearsection have made it possible to lower thecentre of gravity, providing excellentstability. This choice also gives the operator anexcellent view of the back of the machine.

The 10MSX benefits from theexperience gained with the12MXT and 14MBX. Inaddition, certain technicalchoices make it particularlyattractive in this 7 tonnecategory.

The 77 hp/57 kW engine gives all the power necessary for a high road speed, but alsopermits very short cycle times, essential to the profitability of your pipe or cable layingsite.The hydraulic offset, available as standard, also contributes to the machine’s efficiencybecause it makes it possible, to dig a trench with vertical sides, outside it’s own width.

The independent stabilizers are standard and make the machine better balanced. Theymake it possible to keep the machine horizontal, irrespective of the differences inground level.

Working at low speed, which guarantees a long life, the 10MSX’s engine is alsocharacterized by very low diesel consumption and sound levels.

Easy access to reliable components enablesthe 10MSX to remain always operationalon your sites : two wide side doors provideaccess to the pumps and facilitate cleaningof the water/oil coolers. A wide cover onthe hydraulic compartment, situated at aconvenient height, gives access to the load sensing SX14 control valve. Theequipment’s hydraulic circuit is particularlysimple to adjust.The number of greasing points isparticularly small, thanks to the one-shotlubrication of the parallelogram and of theinner toothed crown*.

Simplicity of daily service hasbeen the subject of particularattention. This helps to gua-rantee that regular servicingtakes place.
