10G TransponderThe 10Gbit/s EML transceiver includes 10Gbit/s EML, 10Gbit/s PINreceiver, 16-channel serializer / de-serializer (SER/DES). It provides a complete solution to the physical layer interface in a SONET/SDH transport system including an optical-to-electrical conversion, clock recovery, de-serialization, serialization, and electrical-to-optical conversion. The transmitter wavelength is available in ITU-T wavelength grid (100 GHz channel spacing) for DWDM application. The microprocessor on thetransceiver allows users full access to control and monitoring function. The operating bit is between 9.953Gbit/s and 11.10Gbit/s, allowing Forward Error Correction (FEC) implementation.
