VIDEO SONG - Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise STF 55 Immortal, invisible, God only wise, in light inaccessible hid from our eyes, most blessed, most glorious, the Ancient of Days, almighty, victorious, thy great name we praise. Unresting, unhasting, and silent as light, nor wanting, nor wasting, thou rulest in might; thy justice like mountains high soaring above thy clouds which are fountains of goodness and love. To all life thou givest, to both great and small; in all life thou livest, the true life of all; we blossom and flourish as leaves on the tree, and wither and perish, but naught changest thee. Great Father of glory, pure Father of light, thine angels adore thee, all veiling their sight all praise we would render: O help us to see 'tis only the splendour of light hideth thee. Immortal, invisible, God only wise, in light inaccessible hid from our eyes, most blessed, most glorious, the Ancient of Days, almighty, victorious, thy great name we praise. Walter Chalmers Smith (1824-1908)

VIDEO HYMN - Dear Lord And Father of Mankind STF 495 Dear Lord and Father of Mankind, Forgive our foolish ways; Reclothe us in our rightful mind; In purer lives, thy service find, In deeper reverence, praise. In simple trust like theirs who heard beside the Syrian sea The gracious calling of the Lord, Let us, like them, without a word Rise up and follow thee. Drop thy still dews of quietness Till all our strivings cease: Take from our souls the strain and stress And let our ordered lives confess The beauty of thy peace. Breathe through the heats of our desire Thy coolness and thy balm; Let sense be dumb, let flesh retire; Speak through the earthquake, wind and fire O still small of voice of calm!

OLD TESTAMENT LESSON Joshua 4:1-7 TNIV Read by Chika Unaka, Christian Aid Rep. - (Zoom) 4 When the whole nation had finished crossing the Jordan, the LORD said to Joshua, 2 ‘Choose twelve men from among the people, one from each tribe, 3 and tell them to take up twelve stones from the middle of the Jordan, from right where the priests are standing, and carry them over with you and put them down at the place where you stay tonight.’ 4 So Joshua called together the twelve men he had appointed from the Israelites, one from each tribe, 5 and said to them, ‘Go over before the ark of the LORD your God into the middle of the Jordan. Each of you is to take up a stone on his shoulder, according to the number of the tribes of the Israelites, 6 to serve as a sign among you. In the future, when your children ask you, “What do these stones mean?” 7 tell them that the flow of the Jordan was cut off before the ark of the covenant of the LORD. When it crossed the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off. These stones are to be a memorial to the people of Israel for ever.’ VIDEO SONG - Everlasting Peace There's a place we can go If we feel all alone To calm our fears Wipe away our tears If we turn to the cross There is hope for the lost Amazing love Everlasting peace

Chorus: You lead me through the night Your hand secure in mine Protecting me and guiding me Every moment of my life Wherever I may go Whenever I'm alone You carry me You shelter me You’re my everlasting peace With a love I can feel And a hope ever real I call Your name Then I rise again All my days I will sing Of the joy You can bring Eternal life Everlasting peace Chorus With you here in my heart How can I fall apart I will be strong Knowing I belong with You

EPISTLE LESSON 1 Corinthians 15:50-58 TNIV Read by Mr. Frank Waller, Member of MCHW – (Zoom)

50 I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. 51 Listen, I tell you a mystery: we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed – 52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet.

For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53 For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. 54 When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: ‘Death has been swallowed up in victory.’ SERMON ‘Gentle Reminder to Remember’ Revd. Lansford Penn-Timity - (Zoom) Deputy Superintendent Minister VIDEO HYMN - When I Survey The Wondrous Cross STF 287 When I survey the wondrous cross, on which the Prince of Glory died, my richest gain I count but loss, and pour contempt on all my pride. Forbid it, Lord, that I should boast save in the death of Christ my God; all the vain things that charm me most, I sacrifice them to his blood. See from his head, his hands, his feet, sorrow and love flow mingled down; did e'er such love and sorrow meet, or thorns compose so rich a crown? His dying crimson, like a robe, spreads o'er his body on the tree; then am I dead to all the globe, and all the globe is dead to me. Were the whole realm of nature mine, that were an offering far too small; love so amazing, so divine, demands my soul, my life, my all.

Isaac Watts (1674-1748)

PRAYERS OF INTERCESSION - (Zoom) Led by Revd. Paul Wood Interim Director of Ministries: Connexional Team VIDEO - GLOBAL GREETINGS VIDEO HYMN - Mine Eyes Have Seen The Glory H&P 242 Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord: he is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored; he hath loosed the fatal lightning of his terrible swift sword: his truth is marching on. Glory, glory, Alleluia, Glory, glory, Alleluia, Glory, glory, Alleluia, his truth is marching on. He hath sounded forth the trumpet that shall never call retreat; he is sifting out the hearts of men before his judgment-seat; O, be swift, my soul, to answer him; be jubilant, my feet! Our God is marching on. Glory, glory, Alleluia, Glory, glory, Alleluia, Glory, glory, Alleluia, our God is marching on. In the beauty of the lilies Christ was born across the sea, with a glory in his bosom that transfigures you and me: as he died to make men holy, let us live to make men free, while God is marching on.

Glory, glory, Alleluia, Glory, glory, Alleluia, Glory, glory, Alleluia, while God is marching on.
