This is a great strategy to monitor tardies and help students take responsibility for their behaviors. Others are probably doing this. I just happened to notice this practice in Allison's room. *Mandy, Chandra, Lee, Makenzie, Natasha, and Linda did a great job representing our school at the Board meeting last week. Way to go Vanessa and Jill for organizing a successful Book Fair for our school. Way to go Coach Gary on a great victory. Also, thank you for being the kind of teacher/coach who brings his "A" game to the classroom as well. Thanks to April, Mandy, Makenzie, and Janice for making sure our AVID students had a great OPTED trip on Friday. *Extra Spicy Hot Tamales to Jay, Meredith, Allison, and Chandra for the great Student Council videos. A great way to showcase our kids! Parents and students shared that they did not get their flyer on Friday. 10.28 Dance-Thanks to everyone who signed up to help with our school dance. Please remember to promote the dance in your classes and help collect food to be sold. 8th grade-drinks, 7th grade chips, and 6th grade candy Email-Remember to check your email at least twice a day for information that is essential in the daily operation of our school. If you believe that you are not getting emails due to not being on certain distribution lists, please let me know immediately so you can be added. Basic Best Practices *Thanks to everyone for working together to follow the "norms" that were set for our school and signing planners when students leave class. *Thanks to everyone for continuing to develop best practices by displaying Essential Questions and Language Objectives for students.
