Recorded footage and protection of that footage is a key element to best practice in security.

With the optional SD card any motion detection is recorded directly to the card for easy access via the free app.

As an additional safety protection to safeguard the recorded footage, it’s automatically backed up to Uniden’s cloud service. The cloud also gives you direct access to all the recorded footage during that period of time.

Uniden offeres a substantial 7 DAYS FREE cloud storage with all App Cam Solo’s. For those who wish to back up footage for a greater period of time, there are other optional paid plans available.

Motion Detection: Motion detection can be triggered by the PIR sensor in the camera. The PIR sensor only detects objects with heat up to 10 metres away and in the line of sight. At night, or in darkness, monitor motion detection sensitivity is not as effective as in daylight hours, as it relies on night vision capabilities.
