From 15 July 2014, Malaysia Airlines will introduce a 100% Self Service Check-in policy for all Economy Class passengers with con�rmed bookings �ying on Malaysia Airlines’ Domestic and International �ights departing from KUL.

Customers can now choose to either check in via MHweb check-in on www.malaysiaairlines.com, or MHmobile check in on �ymas.mobi or use the Self Service Check-in Kiosks located at KLIA and Putrajaya ERL station. There are currently 34 kiosks avail-able throughout KLIA to support this initiative. Smart phone users may also download the free MHmobile app for easy check-in.First Class and Business Class passengers who wish to do self check-in may also do so through any of the options available.

Self Service check-in can be performed from 48 hours ahead of �ight departure and between 60-90 minutes before the �ight departure depending on Domestic or International travel. It is available for a maximum of 9 passengers per transactions. For groups of more than 9 passen-gers, please proceed to row L for group check-in.

The conventional check-in counters for Economy class passengers at KLIA (Row C and E) will now be replaced with Bag Drop counters. Two special han-dling counters will be operated at E15 and E16 at KLIA. These counters will be allocated to assist passengers with special need such as wheelchair, young passenger travelling alone (YPTA), unaccom-panied minor (UM), blind passengers & passengers travelling with small children. At KL Sentral, guests are to proceed to any check-in counters.

Customers will only need their booking reference or the 13-digit E-Ticket numbers to perform the Self Check-in. Customers are advised to ensure all documents required for travel is up-to-date. For international travel, passport and entry visas must be valid. For travel to Sabah and Sarawak, a valid MyKad or MyKid is essen-tial.
