The players list will be updated regularly between now and Sunday 28 th April. We are currently working on the draw and hope to have it published early next week. Lanyard All players and coaches will receive a MGC Open lanyard with their id card. Id cards will be given out at weigh in / front door/ or with your team manager.
Officials All Referees & Poomsae Judges are welcome to officiate at the Gold Coast Open. Official attire will be White Shirts & dark pants. AT tie or IR Tie. Officials will be paid $50 – $80 per day depending on level. They will also receive a Commemorative Medal and an appreciation pack. There will also be a dinner on Saturday night at a local restaurant to be decided. Please register online as a non-competitor so that we can cater for your
attendance. We have just made available the names in each division. A signed copy of the entry form must handed-in at the weigh-in.
Poomsae Update To support our Para-athletes, their entry fees will be refunded. All poomsae to be held on Saturday from 9am. Poomsae schedule out on Tuesday. 1 on 1 Divisions (flag system)

WT Divisions
• As per Official WTF competition.
• Official Black belt divisions
• 2 Poomsae drawn on Thursday for Prelim, semi and finals from a list for each age division. They will be displayed near the draw on the wall. Will also be published on facebook and our website.
• Based on scores.
We are allowing a mix of WT and 1 on 1 players in the 1 on 1 Pairs and Teams.
No Poomsae on Sunday.
Official WT divisions, the required poomsae will be posted on Monday 29th April on facebook, and our website www.goldcoastopen.com.au .

Club Profile WeiWu Taekwondo(Victoria)
Located at Melbourne Eastern suburb, Mitcham and Northern suburb, Lalor and Mill Park, WeiWu Taekwondo is a family-run club by instructors Bryanna, Benecia, Brian and Joyce. With more than a decade of experience and knowledge each, coupled with their passion for Taekwondo, they aim to empower students with valuable life skills in a family friendly, safe and positive environment. From the sports aspect of Taekwondo, Bryanna and Benecia bring with them a wealth of experience to the competition team, having competed for the past 12 years before retiring from competitions to focus on developing
new and young athletes. Both have competed and medalled at multiple states and national championships, as well as represented Australia at various international championships including the world junior championships.

Master instructor, Danny Crkvencic, has been studying Martial Arts for over 30 years and has achieved his 7th Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo, a 7th Dan Black Belt in Kyusho, a Black Belt in Hapkido and a 4th Dan Black belt in Kenpo Karate. Master Crkvencic believes in ongoing learning and is committed to continually gaining knowledge and expertise from the world’s best
masters in Martial Arts. In addition, he has been National Coach and represented at many overseas benchmark events and is a member of several National Boards.
