    medicinal uses it is used for to bring down fever, to fight cold and flu, tulsi oil canbe used as a potent anti malarial drug, it can be used to reduce earache. Moreoverit also increases the antibody production of the body.

    ALOE VERA

    Botanical Name Aloe BarbadensisAloe Vera , I think all of you must be familiar with its name because it finds itsapplications in various things. This medicinal plant can be used to heal the burns,wounds. The bottom stalk of the aloe vera can be used as a balm on the burnthereby relieving you instantly. Besides this the plant can be used in the treatmentof eczema and reducing inflammation. This can also be eaten to treat digestiveproblems, ulcerative colitis, chronic constipation and poor appetite.

    NEEM

    Botanical Name Azadirachta IndicaIn Ayurvedic literature neem is described in the following manner: Neem bark iscool, bitter, astringent, acrid and refrigerant. It is useful in tiredness, cough, fever,loss of appetite, worm infestation. It heals wounds and vitiated conditions ofkapha, vomiting, skin diseases, excessive thirst, and diabetes. Neem leaves arereported to be beneficial for eye disorders and insect poisons. It treats Vatikdisorder. It is anti-leprotic. Its fruits are bitter, purgative, anti-hemorrhoids andanthelmintic.

    Botanical Name Phyllanthus EmblicaAmla or gooseberry as it's also known as, is rich in chromium, which makes it verybeneficial for diabetics. It is known to stimulate the isolated group of cells thatsecrete the hormone insulin. This decreases the blood sugar. One small Amla isequals to 2 Oranges if compared with Vitamin C. The Vitamin C in the Amalaki fruitis bonded with tannins that protect it from being destroyed by heat or light.

    LEMON

    Botanical Name Citrus LimonumLemon is used to treat scurvy, a condition caused by not having enough vitamin C.Lemon is also used for the common cold and flu, H1N1 (swine) flu, ringing inthe ears(tinnitus), Meniere's disease, and kidney stones. It is also used to aiddigestion, reduce pain and swelling (inflammation), improve the functionof blood vessels, and increase urination to reduce fluid retention.

    Botanical Name Zingiber officinaleGinger root (Zingiber officinale) is well known as a remedy for travel sickness,nausea and indigestion and is used for wind, colic, irritable bowel, loss of appetite,chills, cold, flu, poor circulation, menstrual cramps, dyspepsia (bloating,heartburn, flatulence), indigestion and gastrointestinal problems such as gas andstomach cramps. Ginger is a powerful anti-inflammatory herb and there has beenmuch recent interest in its use for joint problems. It has also been indicated forarthritis, fevers, headaches, toothaches, coughs, bronchitis, osteoarthritis,rheumatoid arthritis, to ease tendonitis, lower cholesterol and blood-pressure andaid in preventing internal blood clots.

    CORIANDER

    Botanical Name Coriandrum SativumCoriander is primarily used in modern medicine as a flavoring agent in medicinesand as a stomach soothing addition to more irritating compounds.For upset stomach and flatulence relief, chew on Coriander seeds or drinkateamade from the seeds.For relief from the pain of rheumatism, pound the seeds and combine with hotwater or tea to make a paste, then apply to the affected area. Oatmeal may beadded to this mixture to produce the desired consistency.
