Test sambungan las dano 6) Laporan pengawasan pembuatan pesawat uap yang
ditandatangani engineer perusahaan pembuat boiler yang bersangkutan danPengawas Ketenagakerjaan spesialis Pesawat Uap.

Setelah beroperasi beberapa lama, maka pemakai wajib memeriksakan KetelUapnya secara berkala kepada AK3 spesialis Pesawat Uap dari PJK3 yangmemiliki SKP dari Dirjen Pembinaan Pengawasan Kemenakertrans R.I Untuk Ketel uap yang dipakai di kapal laut perusahaan pelayaran
pemeriksaan berkalanya minimal sekal tiap tahun, untuk Ketel Uap yang dipakai di darat pemeriksaan berkalanya minimal
sekali tiap 2 tahun, untuk Ketel Lokomotif pemeriksaan berkalanya minimal sekali tiap 3
tahun.

Agar kerak ketel ( scale ) yang terjadi di dalam Ketel Uap tidak semakin tebaldan keras yang dapat mengakibatkan over heating ( pemanasan lebih ),maka sebaiknya Ketel Uap secara teratur dilakukan cleaning dengan caramanual, mekanis maupun chemis oleh orang yang ahlinya.
