10 Disney Movie Franchises That Will Deliver Wins Through the Next Decade

The Marvel Cinematic Universe• Since its debut in 2008, the franchise has

grossed over $8.9 billion across 12 movies, with an average worldwide gross of roughly

$724 million• 3 movies in the top-ten highest grossing all

time list: The Avengers with $1.52 billion, Avengers: Age of Ultron with $1.4 billion,

and Iron Man 3 with $1.22 billion• As of 2014, Disney and Marvel had movies

planned in the universe through 2028. In 2016, the company will release Captain

America: Civil War and Doctor Strange, with sequels to Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, and new properties to follow

Star Wars

Alice• 2010 release Alice in Wonderland grossed over $1 billion, with more than $690 million in ticket sales

coming from foreign markets
