This year, in addition to the pledge card, we have enclosed a sheet on which you can tell us what your particular stewardship interests are or have been, and what activities you would like to participate in. We hope you will take the time to think about how you might give your time and to send us your thoughts and interests on stewardship. Sometimes people have interests that they never express, or have really useful experience and talents that they never reveal because they think it would seem too boastful. CHILDRENS CHAPEL Because our service begins at 9 am this Sunday, we will not have our usual children’s service and class. After the gospel all the children are invited to come downstairs with Miss Barbara and Liz Carter to color the saints and play with Legos during the sermon. Then we’ll return for the Peace. Warm thanks to Marge Linscott, Jan Newett, Joan Stark, Martha Thomas and Liz Carter who have been our teachers so far. We are having a lively and creative time with our children. JOIN US FOR ALL SAINT'S DAY BRUNCH As part of the festivities for all Saint's Day, please plan to join us after the 9 AM joint service for Sunday brunch. A sign-up sheet is available on the ECW bulletin board downstairs if you would like to bring something to contribute. INSTALLATION OF BISHOP MICHAEL CURRY We plan to have access to the Diocese website for the installation of Bishop Michael Curry as Presiding Bishop, on Sunday, November 1 at 1 pm! Join us in the Lottie Horn room for the inaugural use of our new tv!

MOVIE NIGHT Movie Night returns to St. Dunstan’s, at St. Dunstan’s, on Friday, Nov. 6, 2015 at 5:30pm with “CRASH,” starring Sandra Bullock, Don Cheadle and Matt Dillon. It is a thrilling and provocative movie and won a Best Picture Academy Award. Pizza and soft drinks will be provided, so please let Marian, Tracy or Muffet know if you plan to attend. Would anyone like to bring in some homemade cookies for dessert? PRAYER REQUESTS As requested, Prayer Request Cards are now on hooks in the pews, as well as on the table at the back of the nave. ALTAR FLOWERS Have a special event, birthday, anniversary or graduation you wish to mark? The Altar Flower sign-up sheet is located on the table in the Narthex. A new sign-up sheet was added for November and December.

IN OUR COMMUNITY:

A note from Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry: “Thank you all for supplying us with so many egg cartons. We are currently well supplied so please hold off for now. We can still use plastic bags for distributing produce and frozen items. With the sudden dip in temperatures we would like to ask for contributions of warm winter hats for adults and children. These could be hand knit or new, purchased hats and may be left at the pantry any Monday, Wednesday or Friday morning until 11 AM. A full tummy and a cozy warm hat can do so much for one's sense of well being as we face the colder months. Thanks for your help.”

November 1st begins the month-long fund drive to end hunger in Maine. Please note the envelopes in the pews and donate to our local food pantry. Thanks! All Count Please remember to vote this coming Tuesday. Those in Ellsworth will be able to express their views on the library expansion bond issue, among other state issues and candidate seat selections.

Remember to wear your nametags each Sunday!
