Welcome to the Lord’s day worship service at Grace Church.
We are truly blessed to be here this morning as we open God’s Word together, sing His praises,
and enjoy a time of fellowship in His presence.
Be sure to take advantage of the many fellowship and ministry

All His BenefitsPraise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits;Who forgives all your sins, and heals all your diseases.
Who redeems your life from the pit,And crowns you with love and compassion;Who satisfies your desires with good things,So that your youth is renewed, like the eagle’s.
Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits;Who forgives all your sins, and heals all your diseases.

Hymn 26 A Mighty Fortress Is Our God
A mighty fortress is our God, A bulwark never failing; Our helper He amid the flood Of mortal ills prevailing. For still our ancient foe Doth seek to work us woe—His craft and power are great, and, armed with cruel hate,On earth is not his equal.
And though this world, with devils filled, Should threaten to undo us,We will not fear, for God hath willed His truth to triumph through us.The prince of darkness grim, We tremble not for him—His rage we can endure, For lo, his doom is sure:One little word shall fell him.

Hispanics in California, comprising nearly
one-third of the state’s population.
The statistics for Los Angeles are even more remarkable. Today,
the Hispanic community in Los Angeles makes
up 48% of the city’s population, a number that will continue to rise. The Mexican population of Los Angeles is second only to that of Mexico City, and we are also home to large populations of people from El Salvador, Guatemala, and Nicaragua, as well as smaller numbers from countless other Spanish-speaking countries.
Spanish Ministry at Grace Church began more than thirty-five years ago in response to this local mission field. With a history of faithful
INVESTING IN THE
COMMUNITYSpanish Ministry
You don’t have to travel very far from Grace Church to get to the mission field; in fact, one of the fastest-growing mission fields in the world lies within walking distance of our church. We’re referring, of course, to the vast Hispanic population right outside our doors.
According to government projections, by 2042 Hispanics will make up a majority of the state’s population. This trend began in the 1960s, and Hispanics (the majority from Mexico) have been the state’s fastest-growing immigrant group ever since. Today there are fourteen million
service to the growing Hispanic population of our city, today our ministry is experiencing tremendous growth and influence in the San Fernando Valley.
Representing more than sixteen nationalities, our Spanish Ministry is driven by an enthusiasm and vision for evangelism. God is using our members to reach the community for His glory through a variety of weekly ministry opportunities, from home Bible studies and local evangelism to jail and hospital outreach
ministries. We also enjoy two Lord’s Day worship services in Spanish (8:30 and 10:30 a.m.), along with Spanish Sunday School classes, Fundamentals of the Faith, women’s ministry, men’s ministry, baptism classes, membership
classes, family and marriage counseling, evangelism classes,
discipleship training, and several annual outreach events. The
ministry continues to have a passionate heart to reach those neighborhoods surrounding Grace Church, and we are thankful that God has chosen to bless us with spiritual and numerical growth.
