sMedio DTCP Move is a DMS service app for NAS, enables DTCP Move and P2P access.

sMedio DTCP Move is designed for QNAP NAS, models XXXX

1>Move TV content from recorder to NAS as DTCP enabled DMS

2>Download “sMedio TV Suite” to browse and playback moved DTCP content from NAS

locally and remotely.

These NAS users can purchase sMedio DTCP Move from QNAP APP Center to enable

moving recorded TV media from TV recorder devices into high-capacity hard disk storage in

the NAS system, and watching the contents on PCs, tablets or smart phones through the

home network using DTCP-IP client apps “sMedio TV Suite”.

1. Web GUI Startup 1) Enter from NAS Main Menu.

2) Add sMedio DTCP Move server to desktop, and launch it from desktop.

2. Turn on DMS Turn on DMS (Server) to enable DTCP move and P2P connection.

User can manually find Turn on DMS from <Setting>.

Preloaded or purchased license is required to activate this application.

Turn on DMS operation also check DTCP certificate download successful or not. NAS

system needs to connect to the Internet when checking. If DTCP certificate download

unsuccessful, there will be a pop up message “DTCP certificate download failed, please

check your network, and then try again.”

The turn on DMS button will stay at “ON” after DTCP certificate download successful.

3. Move Process

“DTCP Move” provides function to move recorded TV program from recorder to NAS DMS

server.

3.1. Move process 1: Operate from recorder to move to NAS DMS.

1) Press 「 Start Menu <スタートメニュー> 」 button on remote controller and select 「Content

Move <ダビング> 」.

2) Specify resource content location and move destination NAS.

3) Select recorded TV program and start to move.

Example: Operate Move on REGZA(Media server)

【REGZA(TV) case】

1) Press 「録画リスト」button on remote controller、select recorded TV program and press

「黄色」button.

2) Specify name of NAS DMS from 「ダビング先指定」 and press 「決定」 button.

3) For multiple download, please select more than one and press 「黄色」 button.

4) Select 「はい」 on dubbing UI and press 「決定」 button.

【REGZA server case】

1) Press 「スタートメニュー」 button on remote controller and select 「ダビング」 and press 「決

定」 button.

2) Specify resource content location and select move destination NAS from 「 LAN 」.

3) Select recorded TV program and press 「決定」 button, for multiple download, please

keep selecting content.

4) After selecting content, please select 「決定」 and press 「決定」 button to start move.

3.2. Move process 2: Operate from NAS to move from recorders.

1) Enter move page interface:

※Following steps is based on TOSHIBA REGZA DBR-Z510.

2) Specify the recorder to download content.

The path of the current browsing content displayed as following image. Each layer can be

click and then jump to the corresponding directory.

3) Select contents to move by click or use <select all>.

After content is selected, click <Download Selected Content> to start download.

There will be a pop up message to prompt move started.

4) Contents being moved will be displayed in page <In Progress>.

5) Contents moved successful will be displayed in page <Move Succeed Content>.
