Installation 2.02.1 DATABASE

Note: Read the release notes carefully before installing the components.

1. Restore the Database as e-NGAS. Accept the defaults during the restoration.

1.1 Create a login NGAS_SYSADMIN with a password of administrator.

1.2 Add the user NGAS_SYSADMIN in the SecurityAdmin fix server role.

1.3 Add the user NGAS_SYSADMIN in the dbo role in the e-NGAS database.

2. Run the scripts mentioned in the release notes.

2.2 SECURITY SYSTEM To Install the e-NGAS Security System:

1. Insert the e-NGAS Security System CD in the CD-ROM drive. The installation wizard will begin and the e-NGAS Security System Setup Welcome window (Figure 2.1) will appear onscreen. To continue the setup, click the OK Button else click the Exit Setup Button.

1.1 Click the OK button to continue with the security system installation.1.2 Click Exit Setup to discontinue the system installation.

2. On the e-NGAS Security System Setup window (Figure 2.2), click the icon to install the system to the specified destination directory.

Click the Change Directory command button to change the Destination Directory. The Change Directory window will appear.

3. If you want to change the destination directory, click the Change Directory button. The Change Directory window (Figure 2.3) will appear onscreen.

3.1 On the Change Directory window, enter the desired directory in the Path textbox or simply select from the listed Directories and Drives.

3.2 Click the OK button to start the installation. Otherwise, click the Cancel button to return to the previous window.

4. On the Choose Program Group window (Figure 2.4):4.1 Enter the program group name in the Program Group textbox or select from the

Existing Groups list.

4.2 Click Continue to proceed with the installation. Otherwise, click Cancel to exit the installation program.

5. The e-NGAS Security System Setup Status window (Figure 2.5) will appear when the installation begins. At this point, the program installs the components needed by the system.

6. If the installation program detects that a file being copied is an earlier version of the file that is currently installed in the system, the Version Conflict window (Figure 2.6) will appear onscreen.

6.1 Click Yes button to retain the currently installed file.

6.2 Click No button to replace the existing file with the version being copied.

6.3 Click No to All to replace all currently files installed on the system with the entire file version being copied.

7. The Installation Progress Window (Figure 2 7) quantifies the progress of the installation, expressed in percentage of completion.

8. The e-NGAS Security System Status Window (Figure 2.8) informs the user that the security system is being updated.

9. When the installation has been successfully completed, a message box (Figure 2.9) will prompt the user about it. Click OK button to close this window.

2.3 e-NGAS APPLICATION

1. Insert the e-NGAS Application compact disk on your CD – Rom Drive, click the Setup Icon. The e-NGAS Setup Welcome window (Figure 2.10) will appear onscreen.

1.1 Click the OK button to begin the installation of e-NGAS.1.2 Otherwise, click the Exit Setup button to cancel the installation. A message box

(Figure 2.11) will appear to confirm if you really want to stop the installation.

1.2.1 Click the Yes button to exit the installation.

1.2.2 Click the No button to continue the installation..2. If you choose to continue installing e-NGAS, the e-NGAS Setup Window (Figure 2.12)

will appear onscreen Click the button to begin the installation of the system.

3. On the e-NGAS Setup window, click the Change Directory button, if you want to change the destination path of your system.

4. On the Change Directory window (Figure 2.13):

4.1 Enter the desired directory in the Path textbox or simply select from the listed Directories and Drives.

4.2 Click the OK button to save the destination directory. Otherwise, click the Cancel button to return to the previous window.

5. On the Choose Program Group window (Figure 2.14):5.1 Enter the program group name in the Program Group textbox or select from the

9. When all the files have been installed in the destination directory, the e-NGAS Status Window (Figure 2.18) will appear to inform the user that the system is being updated with the new version of the e-NGAS application.

10. When the installation has been successfully completed, a message box (Figure 2.19) will prompt the user about it. Click OK button to close this window
