Wesley Christian Academy Grades 5-8 Uniform Requirements The 2019-2020 school year is the first year for which all school uniform garments must be purchased from our supplier, Top Marks (www.topmarks.ca - School Code is WCA01). There are only two exceptions – socks and shoes. Top Marks does supply socks and navy tights but those items do not need to be purchased from them. Uniform pieces from our old suppliers (Halpern and InSchoolwear) or any generic brands will no longer be accepted and would be considered a uniform infraction. Wesley Christian Academy has three uniforms, depending on the student’s schedule and the day of the week. 1. UniformReminders
• Blackindoorshoesmustbecompletelyblackandhavenon-markingsoles.• Undershirts,ifworn,mustbeplainwhiteandnotshowbelowtheendsofsleevesandatcollarsetc.Studentsshouldonlywearoneundershirt
beneaththeiruniformshirt.• Greencardigansarenottobewornwiththegymuniform–ifwarmerwearisdesiredwiththegymuniform,theWesleyAthleticshoodedfull-zip
sweatshirtshouldbepurchased.• Girlsnavysocksmustbekneesocks,notankleorcrewsocks.• Boysgreysocksmustnotbeankleorsportsocks.• Jewelryshouldbemodestandtasteful.Femalestudentsarelimitedtooneearringperear.Malestudentsarenotpermittedtowearstudsorearrings.
Allotherbodypiercingisprohibitedforbothfemaleandmalestudents.• Hairaccessoriesmustalsobeunobtrusive,incoloursthatmatchtheuniformorblendwithhair.Hairbandsandponytailholdersareavailablefromthe
