Develop Relationships with other Organizations

Build alliances – Build an alliance with organizations that share similar goals. Even though an organization may have differing perspectives, experiences and desires, there may be enough commonality to build an alliance and work together.

Involve different professions – Policy makers, business owners, school administrators, attorneys, judges, university officials all have a perspective on this problem and can add to the discussion of the issue.

Involve different cultures – People from various cultural backgrounds bring a different understanding and communication to an issue. Sometimes differing assumptions and viewpoints can create and/or contribute to the discussion.
