The following information pertains the online ‘RENEWAL’ or ‘NEW MEMBER’ applications for MOGA. 

New members go to Page 4. 

  

1. RENEWAL Instructions for AGA MOGA MEMBERSHIP  

Existing MOGA Members may pay their renewal dues online.  You will login as usual on the AGA website, www.azgolf.org,  If you 

don’t already have a profile you will need to create one. 

 

From your dashboard, under your name and address, under My Clubs there is a list of any Arizona Club you have been 

associated with. On the right side of the screen by the MOGA club name will be “Renew Online” link, click on it.  If you belong to 

more than one club you can only renew one club at a time.  Note that some clubs do not allow online renewals.  NOTE that 

not all clubs are allowing online renewals, if not they will not have ‘Renew Online’ next to your name

After you click on the “Renew Online” link next to your MOGA club membership, you will be taken to your profile 

page. Please verify your information is correct. You can update any information necessary by clicking on the 

“edit” button in the lower left corner. Please make sure you fill out every field.  

Name (as you want it to appear on scorecards), Address,

FULL MB (F) HDCP ONLY (H):   (enter F for Full Membership or H for Handicap Only membership) 

                                    It is very important for you to specify whether you are joining as a Full or Handicap Only Member 

Spouse:  (optional) 

Email Address:  a valid email address is required 

Birthdate:     a valid date of birth is required.  

Next,  click on “Continue”.  You will then be taken to the page that shows the Club information and the Club portion of the dues. 

At least one item must be selected. 

 

When you click on “Continue”, you will be taken to the “Check Out” page. This will give the breakdown of the charge and then 

you will be required to put in your credit card information.  If the BILLING ADDRESS is the same as the information on your 

dashboard, you can click on the box as shown below.  

Please ignore the part where it asks for a PROMO CODE. 

Credit Card Billing Information

This will auto fill the information and then you just need to fill in the credit card information at the bottom of the 

page. 

If the billing address is different, you will need to type in the correct billing information for the credit card. 

You must click on “I am not a Robot” and follow instructions for any requested selections. Click on Verify, when the green check 

mark appears, click on pay for my membership. 

 

Once you have clicked on “Pay For My Membership” you are done.  You will receive an email confirming your payment. 

Note:  If you a member of more than one club, you must pay the FULL AGA dues at each club.  Rebates may be requested from the AGA after June 1 of each year.  The AGA will keep $15 for each additional club membership.

2. NEW MEMBER Instructions for AGA MOGA MEMBERSHIP

Note: New members who join in November or December will have active membership through the December 31, 2019.

If you are a new applicant and want to join MOGA. You have two (2) options for applying.  

1. Go to the AGA Website, www.azgolf.org, -

On the home page, under where current members would login, in the blue bar, click on LOOKING FOR A CLUB TO JOIN,

2. Or, click on “Membership” menu option. In the drop down click on “Join Today”. Either one will take you to the next steps.

The next page has a short video describing the AGA. NEW MEMBERS should then click on SEARCH FOR A CLUB TO JOIN.

 

Next you will see a map of the area, you can ignore that. All clubs that allow ON-LINE New or Renewal memberships will be listed here. Scroll down until you see “OAKWOOD GC MOGA”

Click on the (+) by the club name, club fee information will be displayed there. Next, click on the red “Join/Renew” button. When you click on the red Join/Renew button it will start the application process.

You will first be asked if you have ever had a ghin number. If you are a renewing member, click on YES and enter your GHIN number then click on CONTINUE. If you do not remember it – the system will give you the chance to look it up. Once the system finds you it will go into the profile page which will be populated with the information that is currently on file in the GHIN Handicap System. – If you are a NEW member AND have not had a GHIN number in the past, you would click on NO and then click on NEW PROFILE. The system will then take you to the profile page where you can enter your information.

  

  Please make sure to double check your information and fill out every field.   Name (as you want it to appear on scorecards), Address, City, State, Zip

 If you have had a GHIN in the past and/or you can’t remember your GHIN, click on the appropriate fields to get the following screens.  

 

   

‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐IMPORTANT ‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐ If you are a NEW Full MOGA Membership member and have not had a GHIN before, you must submit 5 attested scores from any course or courses.  The scores must include:  Date, Score, Course Slope & Rating including the Tees that you played from.   Deposit the scorecards or scores with the above information in the MOGA box in the computer room by the Oakwood Pro Shop.  Once we have entered your scores, you will get an email notifying you of your acceptance for membership.  If you are a NEW HANDICAP Only member and have not had a GHIN before, you may submit scores (see above) and we will input them for you OR you may enter them yourself on the GHIN website once we have notified you of your acceptance and you have received your GHIN and Local #.  A link to post scores is provided on the MOGA website at www.mogagolf.org  or you can go directly to the GHIN posting site at http://www.ghin.com/  Create a profile, login and enter your scores.  Note:  If you a member of more than one club, you must pay the FULL AGA dues at each club.  Rebates may be requested from the AGA after June 1 of each year.  The AGA will keep $15 for each additional club membership.  If you experience any problems, please send an email to Wayne Karp, Membership Chair ‐mogamembership@gmail.com  The last option for new and renewal memberships is by paper form submission.  Please allow 2 weeks for processing by paper.  The membership form follows:

  Membership in MOGA requires joining the Arizona Golf Association (AGA).  Handicap only memberships will be accepted.  

Payment Option Pay online before 12/20 and get a discount

 RENEWALS/NEW MEMBERS (2 options):  

1. Pay online with Credit Card:   AGA website – www.azgolf.org  a. Instructions are on the back of this sheet. 

2. Complete this application form.  Make check (NO CASH) payable to “MOGA” and drop in the MOGA box in the computer room at the Oakwood Pro Shop.   

 NEW MEMBERS WITHOUT AN ESTABLISHED HANDICAP: 

1. Complete the application form per the above payment options. 2. Include 54 holes of attested scores (from any course) with the date, course slope and rating. The 54 holes may be a 

combination of 9 and 18 hole rounds, totaling 54 holes.   Note: You may still pay online but your membership will not be approved until we receive the attested scorecards for 54 holes.   

You must have at least 54 hole scores to establish a “trend” handicap to play on Men’s Day. 3. If you do not pay Online, please attach check ONLY, (NO cash) with this form and for new members attach scorecards for 

a total of 54 holes ‐ dated & attested scorecards indicating the Tees played. Drop in MOGA box in computer room by the Pro Shop.

Online - MOGA Membership Instructions   

Renewing Members: Login to your AGA account profile www.azgolf.org . From the dashboard, under your name and address, there is a list of clubs you are associated with. Click on the “Renew Online” link and follow the instructions.

New Members: Go to the Arizona Golf Association (AGA) website at www.azgolf.org . On the home page, click on the link “LOOKING FOR A CLUB TO JOIN” or the “MEMBERSHIP” menu item at the top of the page. In the drop down box, click on “Join Today”.

All clubs that allow on-line memberships will be listed. Scroll down until you see OAKWOOD GC MOGA. Next click on the + by the club name, the club name and fee information will be displayed. Clicking on the red “Join/Renew” button will start the online application process. Follow the instructions.

Before you go to the next step, please double check the accuracy of all the information you enter.

Oakwood Pro Shop.  Once we have entered your scores, you will get an email notifying you of your acceptance for

will input them for you OR you may enter them yourself on the GHIN website. You will only be able to enter the scores

http://www.ghin.com/  Create an online e‐profile, login and enter your scores.  There is also a computer at the Oakwood 

Pro Shop that will allow you to post scores.
