Objectif Étudier l’influence des recombinaisons homologues sur la spéciation bactérienne
HypothèseLa spéciation bactérienne n’est pas liée à des contraintes écologiques ou géographique.
Elle est la conséquence d’un taux d’échec plus fort des recombinaisons entre séquences non homologues.

"Casse" les liens entre les allèles et agit contre la spéciation.
• Dérive = seule force de spéciation (dans ce modèle).
• Population clonale : sélection naturelle et contraintes géographiques influencent le processus de « clustering » mais n'en sont pas la cause
