The plan of action chalked out towards quality enhancement by the IQAC in the beginning of
the year and the outcome achieved by the end of the year.
The details of the planning and outcome of it are mentioned below:
1. Plan of Action:
To provide training to the toppers of the College to further excel in academic
performance.
Outcome Achieved:
The College has provided training to the toppers of the class by the respective subject
teachers. The subject teachers have taken special interest to clarify the doubts and
concerns of these students. Our teachers are easily approachable and accessible even
after the lectures. The College has prepared a separate book for T.Y.B.Com students
to secure better grades in their final exams.
The students with better grades were trained to further improve their academic
performance. Our result trend for the past two years will prove the same:

2. Plan of Action:
To continue our peer reviewed journal bearing ISSN number.
Outcome Achieved:
In the academic year 2012-13, the Research & Publication Cell of the College
constituted an Editorial Board for the Insight Management Review consisting of the
following external members:
Dr. Madhu Nair - Dean Department of Commerce, University of Mumbai.
Dr. G. Y. Shitole - Professor & Head, Department of Commerce, SNDT
Women's University.
Prof. Michael Vaz - Senior Lecturer, Mithibai College of Arts, Science &
Commerce.
In this academic year we also formalized the peer-reviewing of research papers. We
appointed three peer reviewers:
Dr. Sangeeta Pawar - Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce,
University of Mumbai.
Dr. B. N. Gaikwad - Head of the Department - English, N. G. Acharya
College.
Dr. Arvind Dhond - Assistant Professor, St. Xavier's College.
The reviewers were given a questionnaire, to provide feedback about the research
papers. The Research & Publication Cell then accordingly undertook the necessary
steps to edit the papers and release the Journal on time
3. Plan of Action:
To strengthen our participation in Vakola ALM.
Outcome Achieved:
The College has been a part of Vakola ALM and since the academic year 2012-13.
Mr. D. Mhaske is a member in-charge representing Degree College for conducting the
activities of Vakola ALM. Our participation with Vakola ALM has increased as we
have conducted certain activities in collaboration with them:
a. Waste management - 7th July, 2012
b. Tree plantation - 26th July, 2012
c. Water conservation - 4th August, 2012

4. Plan of Action:
To increase students involvement in sports activities.
Outcome Achieved:
Our College took a number of measures to improve sports activities, such as:
Provided sports room separately for boys and girls to play indoor games.
Playground revamped for sports activity like football, cricket, volleyball, etc.
Provided auditorium for badminton practice.
Our students won many accolades in sports activities, such as
Participated in Chess competition performance for University level and won
15 rounds and one of our student got selected to zonal level.
Cricket team won first round at University level.
Participated in handball at University level and many inter collegiate events.
Participated in football and carom competition at University level.
Girls and boys participated many athletic events organized by the University
of Mumbai
Organized various indoor and outdoor games competition at inter class level,
also annual sports day is organized where many students participated.
This year our College participated in an inter-collegiate competition named
AASHIYAN at Institute for Future Education Entrepreneurship and Leadership
(iFEEL) at Lonavala. We participated in many sports events and won first place
among girls volley ball, carom and our cricket team reached semi finals for this event.

1. Activities reflecting the goals and objectives of the institution:
Patuck-Gala College of Commerce & Management is a renowned institute
promoting value and quality education to courses like B.Com, B.M.S & B.B.I.
A lot of activities were put in place reflecting the goals and objectives of the
institution to attain very best academic and non- academic results. The College
laid emphasis in developing the overall personality of the students.
Various activities are undertaken in College to provide opportunities to widen
the horizons and perspectives of our students. During the Academic Year
2012-13, College had taken initiative to encourage the students to participate
at intercollegiate activities. Students had participated in many cultural
activities at intercollegiate level and have bagged many prizes. The students
had also participated in intercollegiate sports activities.
The College library also provides Book Bank Scheme for underprivileged
students. The College also provides concession in fees to merit list students.
During the Academic Year 2012-13, the NSS Unit of our College has
conducted various welfare activities like tree plantation, blood donation camp
and disaster management programme.
The Student Council of our College conducted a wide variety of extra -
curricular activities for nurturing talent and helping students to build and
reinforce their confidence level, communication and inter - personal skills.

The College has also encouraged teachers to participate in national and
international conferences. The teachers are also deputed to attend seminars
and workshops organized by other Colleges. A faculty development
programme was organized which covered areas such as “Case Study Writing”
and “Setting up of a question paper”. Our In-charge Principal Dr. (Mrs.)
Meeta Pathade and two teachers Mrs. Netra Thakre and Ms. Tasfiya Shaikh
have successfully completed the orientation programme organized by
University of Mumbai in the Academic Year 2012-13. The College also has
undertaken maiden publication of its management Journal “Insight -
Management Review”, bearing ISSN.
All these activities boost the morale of the students as well as teachers and
create a conductive environment for effective learning and teaching process
leading to overall development of the institute.
2. New academic programmes initiated (UG and PG):
The College did not initiate any academic programme for the Academic
Year 2012-13, however plans to initiate short term courses for UG students.
3. Innovations in curricular design and transaction:
Up gradation of curriculum design is vital for imparting quality education.
In the academic year 2012 – 2013, three teachers have undergone orientation
programme conducted by the University of Mumbai. Our In-charge Principal
Dr.(Mrs.) Meeta Pathade has successfully completed the orientation
programme with A grade on 21st August 2012 .Our other two faculty members
Mrs. Netra Thakre and Ms.Tasfiya shaikh has also completed their orientation
programme with B grade on Feb 2013.
College has also conducted faculty development programme for faculty
members. A one day workshop was organized on 20th November 2012 on
„Setting Up of a Question paper and Case study writing‟ by Dr. Navin Punjabi.
There was an orientation programme conducted for orienting the teachers on
how to make optimum use of e-learning system for effective teaching learning
process.

Teachers are deputed to attend seminars on revising syllabi of different
subjects. Our teachers suggest necessary revisions and put forward opinions
relating to the syllabi proposed by Board of Studies, University of Mumbai.
With the new 40 - 60 exam pattern, where 40 marks is internal assessment, the
teachers assign different topics - subject wise - to the students for making
presentations and preparing assignments. The external assessment is
conducted for 60 marks by the College on behalf of the University of Mumbai.
4. Inter-disciplinary program started:
For the academic year 2012-13, the College had not started any inter-
disciplinary programmes but plans to start certain programmes soon.
5. Examination reforms implemented:
Being the third year after implementation of new pattern of Credit Based
Grading System (CBGS) in examination by University of Mumbai, the same
CBGS pattern will be adopted at Third Year level in all Programmes - B.Com.
B.M.S. and B.B.I. from Academic Year 2013-14.
As per the new exam pattern internal assessment from semester I to semester
VI and external examination from semester I to semester IV will be conducted
by the College on behalf of University of Mumbai and external examination
for V and VI semester will be conducted by the University. Reforms at the
College level are already undertaken with regards to examinations as per the
guidelines provided by the University of Mumbai.
With change in the exam pattern to improve the results for final year students,
the College will conduct one prelim exam in every semester for the third year
students.
6. Candidates qualified: NET/SLET/GATE etc:
During the academic year 2012-13, there are no candidates who obtained
any such qualification. However, our one staff members, Mrs. Netra Thakre
has qualified NET exam in December 2009.

7. Initiative towards faculty development programme:
The College encourages teachers to pursue further studies (Ph.D., M.Phil.,
NET/SLET)
Teachers are encouraged to participate at state level, national level and
even international level seminars and are granted duty leave for the same.
Study leave is granted to staff members whenever required.
Films having educative value like „Life of Pi‟ are screened and that helps
to build friendly atmosphere among staff members.
A faculty development programme on „Question paper Setting –Bloom‟s
taxonomy and Case Study Analysis‟ by Dr. Navin Punjabi was conducted
by College in the month of November 2012.
The College has deputed our In-charge Principal Dr.(Mrs.)Meeta Pathade
for the UGC - sponsored orientation program from 24th August,2012 to
18th September, 2012.
The College had deputed Mrs. Netra Thakare and Ms. Tasfiya I. Shaikh
for the UGC-sponsored orientation program from 29 January, 2013 to 26th
February, 2013.
Our In-charge Principal Dr.(Mrs.) Meeta Pathade presented a paper on
“Motivation for Retention of Employees in Call Center” in International
Conference at Nepal organized by Nepalese Academy of Management on
12th and 13
th March, 2013.
Mrs. Renita Vazirani was awarded the PGDMM Degree with First Class-
A Grade in the month of Feb, 2013 from IGNOU.
Mrs. Priti Surve and Mrs. Netra Thakre had attended workshop on SLM
Format organized by the Institute of Distance and Open Learning,
University of Mumbai.

Seminar on Waste Management
July 7, 2012
The College organized a seminar on waste management. Speakers from
the BMC were invited to address the students about the dry and wet waste
and how to dispose them differently. They also briefed the students about
how the BMC is helping society to do the same. A related film was shown
to the students for better understanding and effective application of waste
management. This was an initiative of the Vakola area ALM, of which our
College is a very active participant. All the students, First Year, Second
Year and Third Year of B. Com., BMS and the BBI programs were taken
in batches to understand aspects related to waste management.
Seminar on Equity Market
July 14, 2012
The Department of Accountancy organized a seminar on Equity Markets
on July 14, 2012 in the College auditorium for the students of B.Com.
program. The guest speaker was Mr. Sagar Patel, Equity Research Analyst
from Transparent Value. He focused towards investing in mutual funds
and in FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) products.
Seminar on Water Conservation
August 4, 2012
The College organized a seminar on water conservation. Speakers from
the BMC were invited to address the students about how to save water, a
natural resource which is getting really scarce. This was an initiative of
the Vakola area ALM, of which our College is a very active participant.
All the students, First Year, Second Year and Third Year of B. Com.,
BMS and the BBI programs were taken in batches for the same.

The Department of Commerce organized a seminar to orient students
about corporate expectations from students. Mr. Manish Punjabi, Brand
Manager, Asian Paints was invited to address the students. He created the
platform for students to understand corporate world.

organized a seminar to help students improve their personality in terms of

January 12, 2013
The Department of Commerce organized a seminar on „Consumerism‟ to
orient students about adulteration in food with the support of Consumer
Guidance Society of India (CGSI). Mr. Gajanan Patil, a representative of
CGSI showed the demonstration on how to identify the adulterated food
with simple household items and with simple methods

Workshop on HIV-AIDS By MDAC

MDAC Maharashtra District AIDS Cell, Wadala and N.S.S. Unit of our
College jointly organized two days workshop on HIV-AIDS. There were
40 volunteers who participated from various Colleges. There were 20
volunteers from our unit who helped to make the inter-collegiate
programme successful.

Study on Stress Amongst Employees in Call Centers”, during the year
2009 from Dravidian University.
iii. Mr. Pallav Das completed his doctoral thesis titled: “The Critical
Evaluation and Performance of Regional Rural Bank: A Case Study of
Maharashtra Gramin Bank during the year 2008 from Anamalai
University. However, the viva-voce for the same is awaited.
iv. Mr. Pallav Das completed his research project on “Customer
Satisfaction with ICICI Bank with Special Reference to Navi Mumbai”
during the year 2011 submitted to Anamalai University.

The ERP (Enterprises Resource Planning) system was adopted in the A.Y.
2010 - 11 by the College. Admission entry, results, identity card data,
teachers‟ attendance record are generated through the system.
The installation of e-learning smart class (a teacher-led educational
content based solution) in every class room has helped teachers to use
Audio-Visual aids for more interactive and effective teaching. Most of
teachers make use of Power Point Presentations and smart board for
delivering lectures in the class rooms.

Our College NSS Unit is working with SAHER NGO. This NGO brings
development among the young generation about the nature, society, and nation.
This NGO had conducted 4 days programme on “Reproductivity of Health”

Occurrence”. Total 40 volunteers participated wherein there were 20 girls and
20 boys.

The N.S.S. Unit conducted a workshop on waste management programme in
collaboration with B.M.C. The meeting was conducted on 6th July 2012. The
total of 20 volunteers participated in waste management training on 7th

2012 held at Gala Auditorium. The parents‟ community from the vicinity area
were also invited to understand management of wastes.
Poster Theme on College Wall
The students prepared a large poster on the theme of „Delhi Gang Rape‟ and
arranged the same as a backdrop for our College Annual Day. The same
backdrop is hung high on the wall of our College building that gives the
message to the passersby on sensitivity towards the gang rape case.

The NSS students of our College donated T- shirts to the street beggars at the
station road, Santacruz (E).

Tree Plantation

Our N.S.S. volunteers had planted 400 trees on the road side divider from
Vakola Masjid to Vakola Market. There were a total 60 volunteers participated
(40 boys and 20 girls) along with two professors Mr. Prashant Salvi and Ms.
Tasfiya Shaikh in this activity. Our NSS volunteers also regularly water these
plants.

N.S.S. Unit of our College had conducted Water Conservation activity in
association with B.M.C. on 4th August 2012 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the
College. There were 20 volunteers (12 boys and 8 girls). This activity was
helpful to bring awareness about importance of water conservation among the
students / volunteers. The parents‟ community from the vicinity area were also
invited to understand aspects related to water conservation.

Our College NSS volunteers participated in Peace Rally at Azad Maidan
organized by University of Mumbai. They also prepared posters and
slogans to contribute to the rally. About 55 volunteers participated for the

There was a seminar organized by SAHER NGO on “Building Peace and
Harmony in Society” at TISS Deonar, Mumbai. There were 6 volunteers
who participated in this seminar. By such participation, we sensitize the
youth about their rights and duties.

During the Academic Year 2012-13, our N.S.S. volunteers worked on
education aid programme. Under this activity, we have adopted a school
Marathi Municipal Lalthane School from Saphale Village of Thane
District. It was a school for adivasi, our volunteers taught the school
students the subjects like Mathematics, Science, English with the help of
posters and other teaching aids. There were 15 volunteers participated in
this activity.

The N.S.S. Unit of University of Mumbai had organized the peace rally on
the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti at Gateway of India. There was also Sangit
Samarah on the 2nd

also participated on this occasion. There were in total 40 students who
participated in these activities. Such activities inculcate the feeling of
patriotism among the students.

Our N.S.S. Unit and SAHER NGO organized a lecture on “Unity and
Corruption”. It was a very effective lecture which focused on the evils of
corruption in Indian society. There were 40 volunteers who participated in
this session.

College jointly organized two days workshop on HIV-AIDS. There were
40 volunteers participated from various Colleges. There were 20

programme successful. This program created awareness and educated the
students from other colleges about HIV- AIDS.

On behalf of World AIDS Day, a rally was organized at Dr. Ambedkar
College of Commerce, Wadala. There were 20 volunteers from our
College who participated in this event.

Our N.S.S. volunteers performed street play at Santacruz (E) Bus Depot on
AIDS awareness. There were 50 volunteers participated in this street play.
Many people gathered to watch the street play. It was a very interesting play

Blood Donation Drive

Our College N.S.S. Unit has organized a Blood Donation Drive in College.
We invited Minatai Thakare Blood Bank from Goregoan. There were
about 120 students participated in the drive. We collected 40 bottles of
blood on this occasion. For the first time the College has organized the
blood donation camp in a mobile van.
Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda

There was celebration of Swami Vivekananda 150th birth anniversary
celebrated at Shanmukhanand Hall, Sion. There were 25 volunteers who
participated in this activity and got acquainted with values and beliefs of
Swami Vivekananda.

year.

Our College NSS volunteers worked on rape case with the support of
SAHER NGO at Lokhandwala Ground, Andheri where they lightened the
candles and made number of posters on the road by rangoli. This activity
was only conducted to create the message about the importance of girls
and their values in society.

Our NSS Camp was organized at Vidhya Bhavan, Edwan School, Tal-
Saphale, and District-Thane from 3rd

2012. 55 NSS volunteers participated in this camp under the leadership of
two NSS Programme Officers: Prof. Tasfiya Shaikh and Prof. Prashant
Salvi.
NSS volunteers conducted various social and cultural programmes for rural
villagers. Volunteers participated in cleanliness campaign, street plays and
medical camp conducted during the rural camp.
Street plays were presented by volunteers‟ on social issues like importance
of trees, corruption at rural level, importance of girl‟s education at rural

level, superstition, women empowerment , technology- boon or bane etc. to
sensitize the villagers about social evils.
The special rural camp gave participants and volunteers a great chance to
develop their personality and work with the local people of the village.

21. Improvements in the library services:
During the academic year 2012 - 13, there has been increase of about 10
percent of reference books as compared to previous academic year.
The process of index of journal is completely digitalized.
The library seating arrangement and cupboards were re-arranged and made
it to a closed access.
The majority functions of library are completely computerized.

23. Courses in which student assessment of teachers is introduced and the
action taken on student feedback
Every year at the end of the term/semester student feedback is taken for the
part time, full time as well as for visiting faculties in the institute. The
feedback is taken from the regular students which are randomly picked from
all the classes. They are asked to fill the feedback form under different criteria
and then it is tabulated point wise, which is then converted into percentage
form for the respective faculties.
There is a ready performa being made by the College for the student‟s
feedback. After taking feedback, it is then communicated and discussed with
the teachers on one to one basis. Teachers are appreciated for their strengths
and are asked to take corrective approach for improving their weaknesses.
24. Feedback from stakeholders
The teachers performance is evaluated by the Principal every year. The
narrative easy method is used for the same. In the feedback, the Principal
has pointed out strengths and weaknesses / limitations of faculty. The
report is discussed with the respective teachers by the Chairman and the
Principal.
Feedback was also taken from alumni students at the time of their annual
get together.

Note:-
Unit cost of education for the A.Y. 2012-13 has increased due to collection
of e-learning charges collected from students and also due other
miscellaneous collections. Further, capital expenditure for construction of
sports room is fully paid from the College account.
Also, during the academic year 2012-13, the arrears of examination share
from year 2002 to 30th March 2013 was paid to the University which
amounted `. 7, 04,094.00.
26. Computerization of administration and the process of admissions and
examination results, issue of certificates
Office administration is completely computerized. The administrative
staff is assisted with Enterprises Resource Planning (ERP) system for the
generation of admission, student record and results and identity card.
The bio-metric attendance is linked with ERP system for generating pay
roll of the employees. However, the reports have to be generated yet.
The system has helped to produce grade cards (mark sheets) with new
changes in the exam pattern.
The process of admission is completely computerized, printed fee
receipts are acknowledged to the students and details of admitted
students are entered in Maharashtra Knowledge Corporation Limited
(MKCL) format.
27. Increase in the infrastructural facilities
Sports room is newly build for students; boys and girls separately
College play ground is revamped for improved experience of playing
games i.e. Volleyball, Football, etc

28. Technology up gradation
The College has installed Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Systems which is
an innovative technology for education and in administrative centers and other
premises.
CCTV systems are installed in our College premises for the purpose of
enhancing security of the building and its associated equipments as well as
creating mindfulness among the occupants, at any one time that a surveillance
security system is in operation within and/or in the external environs of the
premises during daylight hours each day.
The College is also working on continuous improvement for its website
development.
29. Computer and internet access and training to teachers, non-teaching staff
and student.
Teachers are trained for enhancing their presentation skills on PowerPoint
presentation to deliver lectures. This initiative was taken by our IT
department.
Office Computers are internet enabled and non-teaching staff have access to
computers.

These core-committee members of alumni helps to conduct alumni activities.
On 14th
October, 2012 College organized an Alumni Get-together for alumni
of B.Com, BMS & BBI.
During every annual alumni get-togethers a feedback form is to be filled by
alumni with various parameters. On 12th January, 2013 Patuck Polytechnic
Trust organized an “Alumni Meet” wherein the alumni from all the sections
were invited for alumni dinner. Alumni, teachers, non-teaching staff
members, Trust members from different sections gathered together and
celebrated Alumni Dinner Meet as one “Patuck Family”.
We also had an interview by TV Channel News X, on 22nd
January, 2013
where one of our alumni of BMS Section (Mr. Amitraj Naidu) from 2005-
2006 batch was invited for the interview. It was telecasted on 26th January,
2013 on Republic Day at 7.00 am and even can be viewed on you tube and

This Academic Year 2012-13 there was no such activity and meeting were
conducted. However, during the academic year 2013-14, we would initiate

Blood Donation Drive
The Blood donation Drive was conducted by our College with the help of
Minatai Thakre Blood Bank from Goregoan. The provided the service of
Mobile Van to collect the Blood from the College. Total 125 students
participated out of that 85 were male participant and 40 were female
participants. Total 40 bottles of blood were collected.

Medical camp
The medical camp was conducted at Edwan - Saphale by the College NSS
students. Total 110 people participated out of that 85 were male participants
and 25 were female participants. Around five nearby villages participated in
this medical camp.

34. Performance in sports activities:
Our College organizes and encourages various sports activities. The details for
the academic year 2012-2013.
Participated in Chess competition performance for University level and won
15 rounds and one of our students got selected to zonal level.
Cricket team won first round at University level.
Participated in Handball at University level and many inter collegiate events.
Participated in football and carom competition at University level.
Students both girls and boys participated many athletic events organized by
the University of Mumbai
Organized various indoor and outdoor games competition at inter class level.
Also annual sports day is organized where many students participated.
Participated in an inter-collegiate competition named AASHIYAN at
Institute for Future Education Entrepreneurship and Leadership (iFEEL) at
Lonavala. We participated in many sports events and won first place among
girls volley ball, carom and our cricket team reached semi finals for this
event.

Attendance is considered of those students who actively participated in
College sports events at College level as well as at University level.
Awards and certificate are given to outstanding sports students at the Annual
Prize Distribution.

37. Activities of the Guidance and Counseling unit
The College has appointed a certified counselor, Ms. Sunita Bhuiya, for guiding
and counseling students on behavioral patterns and improving their mindsets.
Guidance is an effective educational service that helps the students for present
adjustment, future planning and develops his own potentialities. The counselor
not only guides, gives opinion but also motivates the students develops their
own ability to cope with their own problems.
The counselor helps the students to:
Make improvement in methods of study and develop effective study habit
Help them to cope with failure in examination
Help them who are nervous and are unable to voice their opinions
Contributing the students educational and vocational planning and placement
The students are given guidance to choose right educational and vocational
options and to develop effective leadership skills. The students are counseled on
social, personal and emotional problems and necessary support is lent to them.
Our Counseling Cell works on the idiom:
“Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; Teach a man to fish and you
feed him for a lifetime”.

39. Development programmes for non-teaching staff :
During the Academic Year 2012-13, Ruia College at Matunga had
organized one week training programme regarding information on Library
Management. The College had deputed Mr. Bapu Varak (Library
Attendant) for this training program from 29/10/12 to 3/11/12.
40. Good practices of the institution
From the student’s point of view
1. The departments of the College for all the subjects hold various
competitions like essay writing, elocutions, quizzes, debates, poster
making etc that enhances the talents among the students.
2. Career guidance program and placement cell helps the students to
undertake the task of work world and get actual experiences of the
work outside the College premises. The activities undertaken:
i. Workshop on Resume Writing and Interview Technique was
organized by Deepali Poojari, Partner Vivritti Consultant.
ii. Jaro Education Pvt. Limited organized a campus interview in
which 25 students appeared and 10 were shortlisted.
iii. Students saving account were opened by Bank of Baroda.
iv. Placement follow-up was done by HDFC Life and TCS BPO.
3. An industrial visit at Rajasthan to Chandra Chemical factory was
organized to enable students to get a better understanding of corporate
world.
4. Nature trips are organized to make students sensitive to the
environment.
5. Talents and leadership skills, organizing, managing, controlling,
decision-making, discipline, tolerance, sportsmanship is enhanced
through conducting sports, extracurricular as well as cultural activities
in our College.

3. Teachers are also motivated to use education technology in their day to day
lectures.
4. Faculty development programmes are organized. Mr. Navin Punjabi
enlightens the teachers on Setting of Question Papers according to Blooms
Taxonomy. He also discussed on teaching Pedagogy on „Case Study
Analysis‟.
5. Teachers are encouraged to attend Orientation Program organized by
University of Mumbai. Dr. (Mrs.) Meeta Pathade, Mrs. Netra Thakre and
Tasfiya Shaikh attended the Orientation program during the Academic Year
2012-13.
6. Students feedback and In-charge Principal feedback is given to the teachers as
this helps them to get insights on their performance on aspects such as
teaching-learning process, regularity, punctuality etc.
From the institution’s point of view
1. The College has collaborated with NGO like SAHER and Majlis and works
together towards community development.
2. The Patuck Polytechnic Trust had organized an eco-friendly seminar on
“Waste Management” and “Water Conservation” in co-ordination with ALM
(Advance Locality Management) and Ekta foundation to sensitize students
about waste management in the city and to create awareness about the ill-
effects of man-made waste.

She is also the member of Maharashtra State Commerce Association and an
alumni member of Pathik HRD Institute.

The teachers are appointed as examiners for T.Y.BCOM, T.Y.BMS and
T.Y.BBI University exams.
“Gandhi Vichar Exams” was organized in co-ordination with Sarvodaya
group to inculcate values and philosophies of Gandhi in minds of Students.
Orientation Programme is conducted for all the student‟s class-wise
wherein teacher in-charges addressed the students regarding the purpose
and activities to be conducted annually.
Most of the teachers were deputed for the seminar on the Credit Based
Grading System to understand the new examination pattern introduced by
the University of Mumbai.
The Principal gives a personal card of appreciation to the staff members who
have shown good performance during the academic year.
The Principal has also granted monetary benefit to the staff member whose
contribution has been outstanding during the academic year 2012-2013
During the academic year 2012-13 all our T.Y.BMS and T.Y.BBI secured
A-grade and O-grade in their viva-voce University exams.
The Principal of the College had addressed the T.Y.B.Com students to
motivate them to secure better marks in the University exams.
