Overview of iRecruitment

INSTRUCTIONS:

There are a number of job opportunities currently available via the iRecruitment system. You may access them

either through the public Careers site at: www.BaltimoreCitySchools.Orgor through Employee Self-Service at:

https://ebs.bcps.k12.md.us/bcpss.html. Please note that many new positions are only open to current City

Schools’ employees at this time.

Public Careers Webpage:

1. Click on the Careers link at the top of the City Schools’ homepage: www.www.BaltimoreCitySchools.Org:

2. On the right side of the “Careers” page, you will find a menu of the items that you will be able to view.

3. Click on the item(s) that interest you in the menu such as school leadership, teaching and/or other

opportunities (e.g. district office openings). When you click on any of the options you will see an “APPLY

NOW!” button

4. Click on the “APPLY NOW!” button to enter iRecruitment.

If you have already registered, you will find the log-in button in the upper right corner of the page. This will

enable you to access all current opportunities, including those only available to current employees.

5. On the upper left side of the page you will find a tutorial that will guide you through the registration and

search process (this will only show if you are new to irecruitment) if you are new to this site.

During the registration process you will need to load your resume and any required documents to the

system. Once you have completed the registration process you can begin searching for vacant positions.

You only need to load your documents once unless you want to update your existing information.

Select Employee Self-Service/ERP Production (includes opportunities only available to City Schools’

employees with active email accounts):

1. Select Employee Self-Service at: https://ebs.bcps.k12.md.us/bcpss.html.

2. Select iRecruitment Employee Candidate:

3. Select “New Jobs (Last 7 Days)”:

4. Select the Job Category(ies) you are interested in and then click on specific job opportunities to learn more

about the position(s) and how to apply.

Note: all City Schools’ employees with active email accounts may still access Employee Self-Service. To access

it remotely, please go to:http://www.baltimorecityschools.org/employees/careersand follow the instructions to

log in to Employee Self-Service.
