You may officially begin your proposal

The SED reviews proposal(Can take two months or up to six months)

Your new program has been approvedand registered!

You may now advertise and enroll students.

Step 5: CAPPR to NYSED

NYSED Approves,registers Program, Issues

registration code and sends registration Letter

(3-4 weeks later)Presented to the full Board of Trustees

For their next meeting, which is approximately every two months

SED may ask for clarificationor additional information

After the BOT approval. Proposal is sent to SED

Submit new courses toCUR for approval the nextmonth after BOT approval
