Hardware requirements

• Suggested platform should work on:– PC (running on any kind of OS)– PDA (both wireless and post-data upload)– Tablet PC– Mobile technology (SMS,WAP, GPRS, 3G)– Web and E-mail– Telephone interviews– Multi-platform custom devices specially designed for surveying– A combination of the above most of the times!– Must satisfy customer’s needs about mobility; Main database

should be hosted on a distributed database outside the central premises, accessible at any time from anywhere using strong security

Software (Analysis)

• As mentioned, the software can also export the data to the qualitative analysis software NBISC has, namely NVivo7 (ex- NUD * IST)

• The company would have to upgrade to the latest version, since the last implementation of NUD * IST was in 1999.

• STRATEGY’s suggestion is for the company to upgrade it’s qualitative research software to NVivo7.

Legal Aspects

• NBISC needs to abide with certain regulations, namely 21 CFR Part 11, Good Manufacturing Practice, Good Laboratory Practice, and Data Communications Act

• COMPANY NEEDS TO BE LEGAL!

• STRATEGY can guide the company in getting its accreditation
