Purpose
To create District and Local Joint PAIRS Committees tasked with opportunities and developing strategies to reduce and eliminate accidents and injuries by utilizing the following:
Review and analyzing dataAdministering proactive safety efforts by utilizing current safety programsEnsure training of local committees and employees “Hot spot” reviews/vital fewJoint trainingJointly develop programs targeting city letter carriers

Roles of District Joint PAIRS Committee
Meet on a regular basis to review District performance and identify areas of opportunity
Task committee members in units to focus on hot areas and issues
Support Local PAIRS Committees
Provide training and resources for Local PAIRS Committees
Monitors compliance and results
