WOODEN UMBRELLA MDT wooden sunshades are still considered one the most elegant umbrellas with a nostalgic flair that are available today. Every single piece is handcrafted from high-quality eucalyptus wood. All connecting elements are made of rust-proof metal. Wooden umbrellas are extremely popular in front of older style buildings and are also perceived as a warm contrast to modern architecture and exclusive outdoor food service locations.

FRAME Struts are made out of eucalyptus wood 17 x 28 -- 17 x 35 mm, rounded edges, center pole 35 -- 58 mm in diameter, turn-ing pieces made out of laminated euca-lyptus wood which have been smoothed, polished and glued multiple times, B3/B4 wood quality.

DOUBLE CANOPY UMBRELLA In the course of the constant development of our product line this umbrella – offer-ing a striking design both in daytime and at night – has been developed. Through its new and innovative design with a double membrane and an internal, built-in lighting it helps to create new options of freedom when it comes to outdoor areas. This Umbrella is given a functional value through its integrated rain gutter which consequently leads the water into the ground by a drainage. An interesting effect is caused by the chromed mast at night. This Umbrella is effective and functional in any season.

Umbrella spokes are made of rectangular aluminium sections of 30x20x2 mm. The mast is made of a round aluminium sec-tion of 60 mm in diameter. The aluminium telescope has section dimensions of 30x30x2 mm. The top plate and the crown are made with U-profiles out of aluminium to house the struts. All parts are screwed together and the frame is powder coated (Polyester powder ca. 80 μ).

The side-arm umbrella is ideally used for open spaces with pathways or to optimise seating arrangements, offering unrestricted space underneath the area of cover.

Our newest acrylic yarns are already colored during the spinning process. In the course of a special wet spinning process, pigments are injected into the fiber during production. This manufacturing process is responsible for the overall great properties, such as intense, long-lasting and unique color brilliance. As a result, the fabric can be characterized by its high UV-resistance, its very good light-fastness and color-fastness compared to most other membranes.

MDT-TEX® 300----ACRYL----

The elongation of the woven fabric is identical in warp and weft direction. This is based on the special binding and yarn properties. The surface characteristics get increased by application of a water-resistance, mould resistance and dirt-repellency. A good flame retardancy is difficult to achieve for this material. Suitable mostly for small outdoor objects and where colour richness and stability is preferred.
