Program Review: Compliance
Review of the Preschool Program is required by the preschool regulations (704 KAR 3:410 Section 9)
“A local school district preschool program shall be subject to evaluation by the Department of Education to determine the effectiveness of the statewide preschool program”

KDE reviews P2R Report and other documents and determines site visits
•Not all districts will receive onsite visit
RTCs conduct ECERS-R on 30% of classrooms (random sample) during the cohort year (at least one visit per site)
