Registration ProcessREGISTRATION PROCESS

1. Obtain a NERC acronym – Once an acronym is obtained proceed to step (Takes approximately 1 to 2 Days).

2. Register Company with OATI, Email Company Registration form to OATI. Once OATI verifies your company is registered proceed to step 3.

3. Obtain OATI’s security certificate Registration – Contact OATI to start the registration process. When a security certificate is obtained proceed to step 4.

4. Register with OATI as an OASIS user – Email user registration form to OATI. When user account is activated proceed to step 5.

5. Contact Western to activate you as a valid customer – Western will verify if customer is eligible to purchase transmission. Customer will be notified if they met eligibility requirements. Proceed to step 6.

6. Log on to WestTTrans and submit transmission request.
