4 He that saith, I know Him, and keepeth not His Commandments, is a liar, and the Truth is not in him.

"Keepeth not" = an absolute denialabsolute denial and rejectionrejection of God's Word to follow after self.

"I know Him" = I have an intimate personalintimate personal relationshiprelationship with Him. I lovelove Him.

I know Him as Savior and LordSavior and Lord of my life.

I have fellowshifellowship with Him.

God can not be separatednot be separated from His Holy Word.

It is impossible to love Godlove God and hate His Wordhate His Word.

Every Word of God is pure; He is a shield unto them that put their trust in Him.

Proverbs 30:5

To trusttrust God is to trust His Word.

To love God is to lovelove His Word.

God's Word is the God's Word is the Holy BibleHoly Bible..

On the other hand,

To reject God's Word is tois to reject God.

John 1 1-3 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made.14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of Grace and Truth.

We fullyfully experience and enjoy the Love of God, asas we live our lives according to His Word.

God's love toward us is manifestedmanifested through the blessingsblessings of life lived by His Wordlife lived by His Word.

1 John 1 4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.

When we are fully experiencingfully experiencing and enjoyingenjoying God's Love within us,

We have no doubtno doubt that we are in Him.

When we have walked in sinsin and have not not repentedrepented, there is distance in our relationship.

We are not enjoying fellowshipfellowship with our Lord.

Jesus walked in humble and willing obediencewilling obedience to God the Father.

"He would drive a certain car.

"He would vote a certain way.

"What would Jesus do?

We don't have to guess.

2 Timothy 2 15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the rightly dividing the Word of TruthWord of Truth.

Jesus lived according to God's Word then.

He would live according to God's Word now.

That is how wewe must live our lives.
