Who can et information, advice and support?

Are you aged 25 or under?

Are you disabled or do you have special educational needs?

Special educational needs are when you need ex ra suppor o learn hings.

The law says ha you can ge information, advice and support.

You can come o us if you wan some elp wi h ge ing he righ kind of:

z Suppor a sc ool, college or raining

z Healt services

z Care and suppor

Mos people who are 16 years old or more and have fnished Year 11 can make heir own decisions abou heir school or suppor .

If you would like a parent or carer o help hen ha is OK. I is up o you.

If you are under 16 years old, hen we will need o alk o your parents or carers before we make any decisions.

What should you expect?

Our service is impar ial. This means we will no ell you wha o do. We will not take sides.

We will give you he informa ion and suppor you need o make your own c oices.

Our service is confden ial. Tha means our mee ings will be private. When you alk o us we will not ell o her people wha you said.

We will also ave to tell someone if we are worried ha someone is being urt or mig t be urt.

If his happens, hen we will alk o you abou i frs .

Some imes we may hink i is a good idea o alk o o her people abou wha you ell us, like your paren s, eachers or doc ors.

We will always ask you if his is ok frs . You can say yes or no.
