GovDelivery Question and Answers Data

In early September, GovDelivery accidentally deleted all of EERE’s questions and our subscribers’ answers to them.

What are questions? Some newsletters had optional questions at the end of the registration process. New subscribers were asked optional questions about their interests.

Only some newsletters had these.

5

GovDelivery Question and Answers Data

What was lost?Information about our users. Some offices were collecting office-specific information on our subscribers’ interests and preferences.

Will it affect our ability to send emails? No. Nothing related to our emails, our lists, our templates, or our subscribers was lost.

GovDelivery Question and Answers Data

What’s the next step? We’re working with GovDelivery to see if we can restore any part of the data we lost.

If you want to create new questions—and collect new information going forward—then we can help set them up.

If you have questions or concerns about your newsletter, please contact Carolyn Hinkley and Elizabeth Spencer.

So Why Another Website?

• Need a website focused on EVs and consumers• EV-specific URL• All of the EV tools in one single location

“If consumers are lucky, they will find the useful federal government websites for PEVs… Unfortunately, those websites do not appear consistently high in search results for PEV information.” – National Academies, Overcoming Barriers to Deployment of Plug-in Electric Vehicles
