We have the honour to refer to your letter dated 20 November 2015, which
contained a request to extend the current timeframe of the 2015 review of the United
Nations peacebuilding architecture as previously set out in document A/69/674
S/2014/911. Having considered the "request, please be informed that we concur with the
views expressed in your letter, in particular that an extension of the timeframe to the end
of the first quarter of the 2016 would benefit the intergovernmental process by allowing
more time for broad-based consultations.
