NEES NextGen Webpath NextGen Webpath will be developed to:
– Provide a platform for H-Nonlin access by students
– Allow easy access to NEES research– Function as a learning tool for students– Function as a recruitment tool– These objectives will be accomplished
using five modules which are discussed in detail in the following slides
The NextGen Webpath webpage can be found at: http://lennon.csufresno.edu/~mark4561/NextGen-WebPath/home.html

Preliminary Shake Table Demonstrations
Two demonstrations of the shake table have been performed one of which is presented (in part) on the next slide
The purpose of these tests were:– To generate interest from current
students– To use as a recruitment aid for future
students

Future Goals
Future goals include:– High School Student Recruitment– Perform Additional Shake Table Tests
• July ’09: One wood frame home, approximately 10ft. in height, weighing about 4,000 pounds
– Embed Test Data into H-NONLIN– Make H-NONLIN Web Accessible– Generate Online Training Platform For
Students As Part Of NextGen Webpath (NextGen Learning Steps)
