Saman Tabatabaee Zavareh 1984 (book review) This is the book for people who like reading dystopian science fiction books. It is written by George Orwell ( the author of Animal Farm), and is one of his best pieces ever. This is a story of a man named Wilson Smith. He lives in a society in which no one is free to do what they want. Wilson’s main job is to change history. In the league he works in, the workers gather any evidence from the past that proves anything. Then they change it to prove their own intended points and give it back to the general public. Wilson lives in a society which no one can trust anyone, no one can be sure that his friend is not a member of the secret police, and no one can be sure they are not being watched by the cameras everywhere. It is a society of disloyalty. After a while, Wilson has some questions about his society and its structure. The sentence, “War is peace, freedom is slavery, ignorance is strength” sums up the tone of the book.
