You will have the opportunity to work with children, serve low-income families and the homeless by distribut- ing food and spending time to getting to know them. You may also have the chance to get your hands dirty through minor construction projects like repairing and beautifying structures in low-income areas. TRIP LIMIT 14 • COST $450 BOSTON • MA Ever experience New England? You can begin an adventure to the historical city of Boston, Massachu- setts. Work alongside The Boston Project and invest in Boston’s overlooked, urban neighborhoods through service projects. Learn about the ways God is working in the city coming alongside local organizations and ministries to compassionately serve this great city. You'll also get to worship at neighborhood churches, learn about God's heart for service, spend time as a group bonding and studying Scripture. There will be plenty of time to explore downtown together! TRIP LIMIT 12 • COST $450 BROOKLYN • NY Get ready to head to the east coast and work alongside Flatbush Reformed Church in the heart of Brooklyn! Your days will be spent diving head first into what it looks like to be the hands and feet of Jesus working around the church, serving with local soup kitchens throughout the city, and connecting with the homeless population! The evenings will be spent growing together as a team and exploring New York City: Times Square, 9/11 Memorial, China Town and more! We will even spend one night in worship at the Brooklyn Tabernacle Church. Come see what God is doing and has been doing in this city! TRIP LIMIT 14 • COST $430 DALLAS • TX Don’t mind using your hands to serve communities? Do you also have a sweet spot for kids? Then this trip is for you! We will be volunteering at two non-profit organiza- tions that will get you doing repair and construction work on local houses and churches, as well as reading with children in low-income neighborhoods! Dallas offers tons of culture and chances to share God’s love truly connecting to people through ministry. TRIP LIMIT 12 • COST $450 DENVER • CO Get excited to serve God in Colorado! This trip is split into two parts: the first half consists of serving in inner-city Denver with the Sun Valley Youth Center and the other half is skiing or snowboarding in Aspen! The team will put on an overnight retreat for underprivileged kids from inner-city Denver. Other service opportunities may include working with shelters in downtown Denver, as well as food and clothing distribution. All levels of skiers and snowboarders are welcome! The trip cost includes lodging, lift tickets, and most meals. TRIP LIMIT 20 • COST $655 DETROIT • MI Discover the surprising hope that lies in the D! Even though the city was left economically devastated by the fall of the auto industry, an exciting community is emerging to create a new vision for Detroit. If you like serving in a variety of ways, this trip is for you! Work alongside Central Detroit Christian to participate in construction projects and empower youth through their after-school programs. Join in the movement of renewal and restoration God has already started in Detroit. TRIP LIMIT 12 • COST $200 EAST PALO ALTO • CA In this suburb of San Francisco, middle and high school youth struggle in the midst of poverty, broken homes and gang violence. Come alongside these youth for a week to provide friendship and guidance. Serve with Bayshore Christian Ministries to help kids grow spiritually, gain life skills and develop as leaders so that they may have hope for a future. Service projects include a weekend youth retreat and an after-school program. TRIP LIMIT 16 • COST $695 HOLLYWOOD • CA We are ready to head to Hollywood, CA! Hollywood, amidst stardom and fame- is a poverty stricken district within Los Angeles. We will be partnering with Door Network for the week where during the day we will be helping with homelessness, poverty relief, and HIV/AIDS victims. We will be addressing the drastic culture differences in the area from extreme wealth to extreme poverty. We may even have time to adven- ture out and find our favorite stars on the star walk! TRIP LIMIT 10 • COST $695 KNOXVILLE • TN LADIES ONLY! This trip is an excellent opportunity to create strong and lasting female friendships. Learn and grow together as you reach out to young women in crisis living at the Florence Crittenton Agency. You will be able to serve as role models, listeners, and friends to girls who need a true image of love and friendship. You will be making an impact in the lives of those who are crying out for guidance, love and companionship. A typical week will include opportunities for various community service projects, sunrise and sunset prayers at the beach, and the ability to make everlasting impacts! We will have a chance to explore an Italian Market, China- town and tourist attractions including the Rocky Balboa statue and Liberty Bell. This trip will be an immersion into the Southern culture and how God is working in those communities. Habitat for Humanity in Tallahassee, Florida is committed to providing shelter to those who need it most. On this trip you will work hard to be a miracle for a family in need of a home.
