• Don’t leave sensitive correspondence ("Hey, man. I'm sorry to hear about your aunt passing away.")
• Don’t leave incriminating stories ("I was just thinking about that time we got arrested in Tijuana. You remember that??").
• Status updates can be fun to read, their humor decreases as their frequency increases. We don't need to know about your every move; one update every few days is certainly sufficient.
• Keep your Status updates at least relatively interesting. Nobody cares to read: "John Doe is going to take a nap."
