Access

Deaf or Hard of Hearing Services: The Quadracci Powerhouse (QP) and the Stiemke Studio are equipped with an infrared listening system which ensures clarity of sound from any seat in the house. Performances are offered in American Sign Language for a Thursday evening of all QP productions and one Sunday matinee for all Stiemke Studio productions. We also offer a Captioned Theater performance during the second to last Sunday matinee performance of all QP productions. Please call The Rep Ticket Office at 414-224-9490 for more information. Script synopses are available upon request for QP and Stiemke Studio productions by calling 414-224-1761.

Blind or Low Vision Services: Large print programs are available in the Quadracci Powerhouse and Stiemke Studio from any usher. Every Rep production has one audio-described performance. Using an earpiece attached to a small hand-held receiver, patrons hear a live, real-time description of the action on stage. Call the Ticket Office for more information. A descriptive tape is available for each QP and Stiemke production by calling 414-224-1761.

Wheelchairs All Rep stages are fully accessible. Please contact the Ticket Office at 414-224-9490.

Late Arrivals Out of courtesy to the actors and audience, patrons arriving after the performance has started will be seated at the discretion of House Management.

ParkingMilwaukee Center offers onsite parking with indoor access to The Rep operated by InterPark. Enter from Kilbourn Avenue or Water Street.

Parking PassesYou may purchase parking passes to the Milwaukee Center’s garage for $7.50 in the Quadracci Powerhouse, Stiemke Studio and Stackner Cabaret theater lobbies as well as The Rep’s Ticket Office during Rep performance times. SAVE TIME AND MONEY!

Teddy Anagnostopoulos, Ensemble

Teddy is excited to be performing for the second year with Milwaukee Repertory

Theater for A Christmas Carol. Teddy has previously performed with Falls Patio Players, First Stage Children’s Theater, Wauwatosa Children’s Theater and Village Playhouse. Teddy is an 8th grader at North Middle School in Menomonee Falls where he’s a member of the cross country and swim teams. Teddy would like to thank his friends and family for their love and support and hope they all enjoy the show!

Baylee Bates, Emily Cratchit, Ignorance

Baylee Bates is excited about her first appearance with Milwaukee Rep’s A

Christmas Carol. Baylee takes dance lessons and loves to perform for family and friends. In addition to acting and dancing, Baylee is a cheerleader. She would like to thank her family for their support and is appreciative for this wonderful opportunity.

Jesse Bhamrah, Ensemble

Jesse is thrilled to join The Rep as an EPR for its 2016/17 Season! Most recently residing in Los Angeles, Jesse

earned his BA in Theater from James Madison University in Virginia. He has performed across the country and overseas including appearances with the Peterborough Players in Peterborough, NH and at the Festival d’Avignon in Avignon, France. Some of his recent credits include Henry in Next to Normal, Enjolras in Les Miserables, and Roscoe in The Emperor’s New Clothes. Jesse is thrilled

to be spending the year in Milwaukee and would like to thank everyone at The Rep who has made this season possible.

Ashley Bock, Want

Ashley is thrilled to be returning for her second year in The Rep’s A Christmas Carol. Ashley is eight years old and in

third grade at Tess Corners Elementary in Muskego. Ashley also enjoys basketball, softball, Girl Scouts and loves her dog Charlie. Ashley would like to thank her parents, teachers and the directors for giving her this wonderful opportunity. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Jack Burns, Teen Scrooge

Jack, an 8th grader at Longfellow Middle School in Wauwatosa, is thrilled to be back at The Rep and performing

in the new production of A Christmas Carol. His past credits include, Just a Little Critter Musical; Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical; and Anatole at First Stage. He’s also performed in A Christmas Carol in 2015 and the 2016 Rep Gala. Early next year he will play Geoffrey in First Stage’s production of Robin Hood. Jack would like to thank his family and friends for their love and support and The Rep for this amazing opportunity.

Darrington Clark, Dick Wilkins, Ghost of Christmas Future

Darrington is a graduate of Kansas State University. There, he was fortunate

to play Scrooge in A Christmas Carol, Judge Turpin in Sweeney Todd, Clay in Dutchman and Orlando in As You Like It, and among other roles. Now he is

Christie Coran, Ellen, Cook

Christie is delighted to be at The Rep this season! Originally from DeKalb, Illinois, she holds a BFA in Acting from Northern

Illinois University. Christie has also studied at the Moscow Art Theatre School, and spent a summer teaching theatre in Monteverde, Costa Rica. She is now based in Chicago, where her recent credits include The 39 Steps (Theatre at the Center), Holiday Stories (16th Street Theater), Maybe Baby It’s You (Fox Valley Repertory), and most recently, the role of Barbra Streisand in At Mr. Kelly’s (Three Cat Productions). Christie also performed in Marat/Sade at the International Sabanci Theater Festival in Adana, Turkey. Much love and thanks to her family! www.christiecoran.com.

Jonathan Gillard Daly, Mr. Fezziwig

Jonathan has appeared in sixty-one productions at The Rep since his arrival in Milwaukee in 1998. Some of his

favorite roles here include Padre in Man of La Mancha, Elwood P. Dodd in Harvey, Otto Frank in The Diary of Anne Frank, Arkady in A Month in the Country, and Scrooge in A Christmas Carol. Jon just completed a summer with the Illinois Shakespeare Festival, where he played Polonius opposite Deb Staples’ Hamlet, Malvolio in Twelfth Night, and Mrs. Bumbrake in Peter and the Starcatcher. Other local credits include Edward Bloom in Big Fish at First Stage and Marius in The Road to Mecca at Renaissance Theaterworks. In the spring he

will be appearing at Milwaukee Chamber Theatre in Great Expectations, a critically acclaimed adaptation by his wife, Gale Childs Daly. Regional credits include Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, Arizona Theatre Company, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Clarence Brown Theater, American Players Theater, Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, and PCPA Theaterfest. He is the author of The Daly News, which played at Milwaukee Chamber Theatre; To The Promised Land, which received its inaugural production at First Stage; and is currently working on Sandburg, a one-man play about the poet Carl Sandburg. Michael Doherty, Fred

Michael is thrilled to be back for his fourth consecutive A Christmas Carol here at The Rep. Other Rep credits

include Anselmo in Man of La Mancha and Mother’s Younger Brother in Ragtime. Off- Broadway: Dublin by Lamplight (59E59/ Inis Nua Theatre Company). Regional: Peter and the Starcatcher (Connecticut Rep); Charley’s Aunt (Utah Shakespeare Festival); Assistance (The Wilma Theater); Next to Normal and The History Boys (Arden Theatre Company); Mr. Hart and Mr. Brown (People’s Light & Theatre Company); The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Theatre Horizon - Barrymore Award for Supporting Actor); and many more. His TV pilot, Los Jarochos, won Best Writing at the 2013 Independent TV Festival. B.F.A.- University of the Arts.

Gia Erichson, Ensemble

Gia is so excited to be working as an Emerging Professional Resident at Milwaukee Rep! She is a recent graduate of

the Savannah College of Art and Design, where she received her BFA in Perform-ing Arts. Some of her most recent credits include Hairspray (Tracy Turnblad), All Shook Up (Natalie Haller), and The Two Gentlemen of Verona (Lucetta). She was also a nominee in the 2016 Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festi-val under Sound Design, for her work in music direction. She is beyond honored to be here in Milwaukee amongst count-less amazing artists, and cannot wait to see where this journey takes her!

Matt Frye, Belle’s Husband

Matt is honored to be a part of Milwaukee Rep’s Emerging Professional Residency Program! Matt was born in An-

chorage, Alaska and raised in the state of Washington. He moved to Chicago to attend Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University where he earned a BFA in musical theater. When he is not in the classroom, you can usually find Matt performing or in rehearsal. Recent credits include Skippyjon Jones at the Cirque de Ole’ (Emerald City Theatre), Dogfight (BoHo), Brown Paper Box (Jeff Nomination Actor in a Principal Role) and The Full Monty, Henry V (Chicago Shakespeare Theater).

Jessie Hooker, Belle

Jessie is so happy to be back in Milwaukee and back at The Rep! She loves it here!! Favorite credits:

Dorothy in The Wiz (SSMT), Rusty in Footloose (PCLO), Squeak in The Color Purple (Milwaukee Rep), Sarah in Ragtime (Milwaukee Rep), Jenny in Company (Geva Theatre), Annie in It Shoulda Been You (Stages St Louis), Judge/Ensemble in Legally Blonde (National Tour). Jessie has also performed in numerous readings/

workshops of new upcoming musicals in NYC. Love and thanks to Mark, The Rep family, her KMR team as well as her family/friends and of course her Gil.

Angela Iannone, Mrs. Fezziwig

Angela Iannone is a Milwaukee Rep Associate Artist, Titan Theatre Company Artist, 2014 Lunt/Fontanne Fellow, 2015

Lunt/Fontanne Greek Fellow, 2014 Broadway World Best Actress Award (Maria Callas Master Class), Ruth Schudson Leading Lady Award winner, three time “Best of Milwaukee Best Actress” Award Winner, Joseph Jefferson Award Winner, 2013 Creative Achievement Award Winner- University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Her Milwaukee Rep roles include: Marie Lombardi in Lombardi (Regional Premiere), Fraulein Kost in Cabaret, Olgivanna Lloyd-Wright in Work Song (World Premiere), Louise Seger in Always, Patsy Cline. She is also a playwright of The Edwin Booth Play Cycle, ACTF Regional, The Edwin Booth Company Presents, Titan Theatre Company NYC World Premiere This Prison Where I Live, and Theatre RED World Premiere The Seeds of Banquo. Off-Broadway credits include Titan Theatre Company. Liam Jeninga, Mathew Cratchit

Liam began acting in Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat when he was 7, and he is looking

forward to performing with First Stage in Mockingbird next spring. His favorite things are singing, playing piano, soccer, and solving Rubik’s Cubes.

Chiké Johnston, Ghost of Christmas Present

Chiké most recently appeared as Crooks in Of Mice and Men, a co-production between

Milwaukee Repertory Theater and Arizona Theatre Company. Other recent productions: Marley in A Christmas Carol at Milwaukee Rep and American Players Theatre where he played Othello, Winston and Pistol. His Broadway credits: A Time To Kill and Manhattan Theatre Club’s Wit. Off Broadway: Lost In The Stars, New York City Center’s Encores! and Ruined, co-produced by the Manhattan Theatre Club. Chicago credits include: The Goodman’s Meet Vera Stark; Sizwe Banzi is Dead and The Crucible at Court Theater; The Unmentionables and Huck Finn at Steppenworlf Theater. Other regional credits include a revival of The Unmentionables at Yale Repertory Theatre; Lincoln in Topdog/Underdog at Renaissance Theaterworks; Duke of Cornwall in King Lear at Milwaukee Repertory Theater; Cephus Miles in Home at In Tandem Theatre; Willie in Master Harold and the Boys at Next Act Theatre; and Martin Luther King, Jr. in Smoldering Fires at First Stage Children’s Theater. Emilio Jones, Thomas

Emilio is really looking forward to his first onstage performance with A Christmas Carol. He has enjoyed acting,

singing and performing for his family since he was a tiny tot. He comes from a large family and there have always been opportunities to put smiles on their faces with some of his singing, dancing or just being silly! Emilio is

really enjoying his first year in middle school. He has joined the chess team, student council, and plays the trombone.

Tighe Leszczynski, Ensemble

Tighe is an 8th grader at Steffen Middle School in Mequon. Tighe is a newcomer to Milwaukee Rep, making this season’s

brand new production of A Christmas Carol his debut on The Rep’s stage. His past credits include Jackie and Me, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical, and Lilly’s Purple Plastic Purse at First Stage. He also plays lacrosse, basketball, volleyball and runs cross country.

Kai Liebenstein, Ensemble

As a 16-year-old junior at Milwaukee High School of the Arts, Kai is delighted to be returning to The Rep for

the brand new A Christmas Carol! Previous Rep credits include: A Christmas Carol 2015, and The Rep Gala 2016. Kai is an active leadership board member of The Rep’s Teen Council and is a part of the Professional Training Institute. Kai would like to thank The Rep, her teachers and family for their generous support!

Reese Madigan, Bob Cratchit

Tanner Medding, Ensemble

Tanner is an actor from Baltimore, MD, where he received his BFA in acting from Towson University. Recent

Baltimore credits include: co-creator/actor in the immersive theatre production The Mesmeric Revelations! of Edgar Allan Poe, Submersive Productions; Bareback Ink, The Homo Poe Show, and Slipping, Iron Crow Theatre; A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Baltimore Shakespeare Factory; The Importance of Being Earnest, Twelfth Night, and Bacchai, Towson University. Tanner was previously an Artistic Associate with Iron Crow Theatre, Baltimore’s only queer theatre company, as well as a part-time Education and Community Outreach intern with Centerstage Theater. Tanner’s passion for new works has led to his participation in numerous readings, workshops, and regional premieres – most notably with WordBRIDGE Playwright’s Lab (Generous Company) in 2012 as an actor and student artist. Tanner is thrilled to be a resident this season with Milwaukee Rep.

Carlos Meyers, Peter Cratchit

Carlos Meyers is a junior attending Rufus King International School. This production of A Christmas Carol will

be his fourth consecutive production of this wonderful show. In addition to The Rep, he has appearances in First Stage’s productions including, Junie B. Jones, Jackie and Me, Baker Street Irregulars, and Lilly’s Purple Plastic Purse. Carlos Is also an avid musician and aspiring composer. He plays horn in MYSO’s flagship orchestra, Senior Symphony, and has written three pieces that were performed by MYSO’s ensembles. At school, Carlos plays in the Orchestra and Jazz Band, as well as forming and directing the Pep Band. Carlos would like to thank everyone at the Milwaukee Rep for this opportunity, and he hopes you enjoy the show!

Chantae Miller, Belinda Cratchit

Chantae is humbled and honored to be back at Milwaukee Rep for another production! Her Rep credits include A

Kat is from Louisville, Kentucky. She recently received her MFA in Per-forming Arts from Savan-nah College of Art and

Design after receiving her BFA in Musical Theatre from Northern Kentucky Universi-ty. During summer 2015, she interned for CBS Casting in New York City. Edward Owczarski, Tiny Tim

Edward is 8 years old, a Milwaukee native, and is in the 3rd grade at St. Thomas Aquinas Academy in Milwaukee.

Edward has appeared previously with Radio WHT on WMSE as Orsen Wells (Mosey’s cousin from Kenosha), as Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol, Oliver in Oliver Twist, and at the Milwaukee Fringe Festival in Cosi Fan Tutti, The Western and as a Trumpeter in Princess Whatsername at school. He is proud to help bring you the Christmas Spirit.

Alayna Perry, Ensemble

Alayna, a junior at Rufus King High School, is thrilled to return for this season’s A Christmas Carol. Credits include

Lord of The Flies, Big Nate the Musical, Five Little Monkeys (First Stage), In White America (Rufus King HS in association with Joanne Williams), Into the Woods Jr. (In Tandem Theater). She also serves as Vice President of The Rep’s Teen Council. Up next, she can be seen in First Stage’s Love-a-bye Dragon. This one is for you grandma, for you were always in the Christmas Spirit.

Georgina Pink, Fan

Georgina is thrilled to be reunited with her Milwaukee Rep family once more. Previously, she appeared as the

Little Girl in Ragtime, and Fan in A Christmas Carol. For the Milwaukee Ballet: Young Snow White in Mirror Mirror, Goose in The Nutcracker, Petite Parisienne in La Bohème.

For First Stage, Anna in Goosebumps, Young Wendy in Peter Pan and Wendy, the title roles in both Goldilocks and Spookley the Square Pumpkin. Young Eponine in Les Miserables for Skylight Music Theatre. She also appeared as the young lead in Lemon, winner of best short film (Milwaukee Film Festival 2015). She is both grateful and excited to be a part of this world premiere. Thank you, Mr. Clements!

Rána Roman, Mrs. Cratchit

Rána Roman is a Milwaukee native and proud graduate of Milwaukee H.S. of the Arts. She is making

her Milwaukee Rep debut in A Christmas Carol and is so honored to join this cast of extraordinary artists. Rána was most recently seen as Cassandra in Vanya and Sonya and Masha and Spike with Milwaukee Chamber Theatre. Other credits include: Mr. Burns (Forward Theater of Madison), Agnes Of God and Enfrascada (Renaissance Theatreworks), Lend Me A Tenor (MCT), In The Heights and RENT (Skylight Music Theatre) and nine productions at First Stage, including Big Fish, Mole Hill Stories, Seussical and U Bug Me. Jonathan Smoots, Marley

Having played the “covet-ous old sinner” Scrooge for the past two years, Jonathan is happy to pass the nightshirt to

his friend Jonathan Wainwright. Smoots’ first A Christmas Carol was at Milwaukee Rep in 1981 (he played Young Scrooge and Topper) in Nagle Jackson’s first Rep adap-tation. Other Milwaukee Rep credits in-clude: In the Next Room or the vibrator play (Mr. Daldry); Speaking in Tongues (Pete/Neal/John); The Seafarer (Mr. Lockhart); The Voysey Inheritance (Major Booth); A Doll’s House (Torvald); Arsenic and Old Lace (Jonathan Brewster); The Beauty Queen of Leenane (Pato) and An Ideal Husband (Sir Robert Chiltern). As a charter member, and resident actor at American Players Theatre in Spring Green, Jonathan has played scores of roles over 26 seasons, notably, last summer’s King Lear. He has acted for most of the other companies in town. Jon-athan lives in Shorewood with two lovely ladies: his wife Laura Gordon and their golden retriever Toby. Merry Christmas!

Luigi Sottile, Young Scrooge

Luigi is thrilled to be back at The Rep, where he was last seen as Fred in A Christmas Carol three years ago. A native

of Pennsylvania, he has worked at such theaters as The Arden Theatre Company, The Wilma Theater, Philadelphia Theatre Company, Lantern Theater Company, People’s Light and Theatre, Walnut Street Theatre and Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival. He has also worked in the DC area at Signature Theatre and Woolly Mammoth Theatre. Now a Chicago resident he works frequently with Chicago

Shakespeare Theater and has also worked with Steppenwolf Theatre Company and most recently Utah Shakespeare Festival where he was seen as D’Artagnan in The Three Musketeers, Claudio in Much Ado About Nothing, and various roles in Henry V. Up next for Luigi is Shakespeare in Love at Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Much love to Maggie, Dash, and my family!

Ethan Sprague, Sniffer

Ethan Sprague is thrilled to be a part of Milwaukee Rep’s production of A Christmas Carol. Ethan lives with his

family in Wauwatosa and is in 6th grade at Longfellow. He has performed in Wauwatosa Children’s Theatre productions of Peter Pan, Cinderella, The Velveteen Rabbit and the lead role in Aladdin. Ethan enjoys playing multiple sports, especially baseball.

Deborah Staples, Ghost of Christmas Past

Deborah (Associate Artist) is honored to be back in the Pabst and with The Rep for

the new production of this beloved story - thanks & congrats, Mark! Deborah just finished playing Hamlet in Hamlet and Olivia in Twelfth Night at Illinois Shakespeare, where she had previous played Cleopatra in Anthony & Cleopatra and Elizabeth in Elizabeth Rex. Candace Thomas, Nanny

Candace is an MFA acting candidate at the University of South Carolina. Some of her favorite Theatre South

Carolina credits include The Tempest (Miranda), Blithe Spirit (Elvira), The Threepenny Opera (Polly Peachum), and Tongue of a Bird (Maxine). Philadelphia credits include Spring Awakening (Theatre Horizon), Passing Strange (11th Hour Theatre Company), and Little Shop of Horrors (Bristol Riverside Theatre), for which she received a 2014 Barrymore Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical. The New Jersey native is the author of a one-woman show titled The Thought. The Force. The Love. The Joy. The Hope: An Ode to the Seldom Heard. Candace also served as assistant director and musical director/vocal coach for Ubuntu Theater Project’s award winning production of The Brothers Size in 2015 (Theatre Bay Award winner for Best Ensemble, and Best Production).

Tory Trettin, Martha Cratchit

Tory Trettin, a junior at Whitefish Bay High School, is honored to return for her fourth year of A Christmas

Carol. Most recently she performed in the Rep’s Gala and in First Stage’s The Snow. Tory is also a member of First Stage’s Young Company. Tory would like to thank everyone at Milwaukee Rep for this amazing opportunity and experience.

Jonathan Wainwright, Charles Dickens/Ebenezer Scrooge

After four years of being a proud Bob Cratchit, Jonathan is excited to be on the other side of

“Humbug,” stepping into this new version of a role played by so many wonderful actors. He was last seen at The Rep playing George in Of Mice And Men, a production that will always be close to his heart. Oth-er credits include working opposite his talented wife Laura Gray, playing Tim in The Good Father for Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, and a summer with Door Shake-speare, playing Caliban and Mercutio in The Tempest and Romeo and Juliet, respec-tively. He gives much thanks for the trust and confidence shown by Mr. Clements, and the support of his family and friends.

Chance Wall, Boy Scrooge

Chance is a 6th grader at Lake Country School in Hartland and is honored to be making his Milwaukee Rep debut

this holiday season. He has performed previously at Summer Stage in The Secret Garden (2016) as Sir Colin Craven; Waukesha Civic Theatre’s Gypsy (2016) as Young L.A., Annie Get your Gun (2016) as Jake Oakley, and at the Lake Country Playhouse in A Christmas Carol (2015). Anthony Wells, Turkey Boy

Anthony, an 8th grader at Whitefish Bay Middle School, and is thrilled to be welcomed back to The Rep for

Dan is a New York based composer, actor, music director and educator, and is an Associate Artist at The Rep. Dan was Musical Director for The Rep’s recent productions of I Love A Piano, Man of La Mancha, Dreamgirls, The Devil’s Music, The Color Purple, End of the Rainbow, A Christmas Carol, Forever Plaid, Ragtime, Blues in the Night, Assassins, Always . . . Patsy Cline, Next to Normal, Cabaret and made his directorial debut with The Rep’s critically acclaimed production of Ain’t Misbehavin. In Philadelphia, Dan recently musically directed See What I Want to See (Barrymore Nom) Herringbone (Barrymore Nom), and orchestrated and musically directed the world premiere musicals, Field Hockey Hot (Barrymore Nom), and Tulipomania. Todd loves to tell stories through design. He is happy to return to The Rep, where he is a Rep Associate Artist. He has designed scenery for Of Mice And Men, Dreamgirls, Five Presidents, The Color Purple, The History of Invulnerability, Ragtime, Clybourne Park, Assassins, Next to Normal, and both scenery and costumes for Cabaret and Othello. This fall Todd makes his Broadway debut with The Illusionists: Turn of the Century. John Tanner, Original Music Score

John, a Rep Associate Artist, is a composer, sound designer and one of the Principals of Tanner-Monagle Inc., a video and audio production and postproduction house in Milwaukee. His experience covers a broad range of work in scoring, arranging and music composition for television, documentaries, radio, industrial video, and theater. His music has won numerous awards, including Golden Reel Awards; Telly Awards; national, regional and local American Advertising Federation Awards, Silver Microphone Awards and Radio Amateurs of Canada Awards for advertising. Tanner garnered Gold and Platinum sales certifications for his album engineering work. His projects include scores for NBC, ABC, Lionsgate, and PBS. He has written original scores and designed sound for theatrical productions at Milwaukee Rep, Yale Repertory Theatre, American Players Theatre, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, First Stage, The Fireside Theatre, Kohl’s Wild Theater and many others. Recent work also includes music and sound design for the Milwaukee Public Museum.

Michael Pink, Movement Director

Michael Pink is the longest serving artis-tic director in Milwaukee Ballet history. Since joining the Company in December of 2002, he has established himself as a prominent member of the Milwaukee arts community, demonstrating his commit-ment to the future of dance through new work, education, and collaboration. His world premiere of Peter Pan signified a major landmark in the Company’s history

and was broadcast nationally by PBS in 2014. His production of Romeo & Juliet was also filmed by MPTV. Pink’s theatrical productions of Dracula, Esmeralda, Swan Lake, Giselle, The Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Romeo & Juliet, La Bohème, Don Quixote, Mirror Mirror, and Dorian Gray have been hailed as ‘Classical Ballet for the 21st Cen-tury’. He is an international choreographer and teacher. He trained at The Royal Ballet School, joining English National Ballet in 1975. His first professional work for English National Ballet was nominated for an Olivi-er award. Mentored by Sir Frederick Ashton and Rudolph Nureyev, he went on to serve as repetiteur at The Paris Opera and La Scala, Milan. From 1986-1998, he worked alongside Christopher Gable as founding director of Ballet Central and associate artistic director of the Northern Ballet Theatre. He continues to build a strong relationship with Milwaukee Repertory Theater, where his credits include A Christ-mas Carol, Assassins, Cabaret, and Next to Normal. He looks forward to future collab-orations with more Milwaukee arts groups.

A Whitewater, Wisconsin, native, Brent is in his eighteenth season at Milwaukee Repertory Theater, and sixth as Associate Artistic Director. Administratively at Milwaukee Rep, Brent oversees the John D. (Jack) Lewis New Play Development Program, spearheads the season planning process, collaborates on internal strategic planning and initiative development, and works with the rest of the artistic staff to program and support Milwaukee Rep productions. From 2003 to 2010, Brent also served as Milwaukee Rep’s Artistic Internship Program Director, and strengthened and expanded the program into one of the premier internships for emerging professional artists in American regional theater. Artistically at Milwaukee Rep, Brent wrote and directed the 2010/11 Stackner Cabaret hit, Liberace!

(published and licensed through Steele Spring Theatrical Licensing, and the 2014/15 remount of which closed as the best-selling production in the Stackner Cabaret’s history), conceived the premiere installment of Rep Lab, and directed Song Man Dance Man (Stackner Cabaret, 2011/12), How the World Began (Stiemke Studio, 2012/13), The Whipping Man (2013/14, which closed as the best-selling drama in Stiemke Studio history), The Beautiful Music All Around Us (Stackner Cabaret, 2014/15), and the final installment of the Hanreddy/Morgan version of A Christmas Carol (2015/16). He served as Production Dramaturg on the world premieres of Five Presidents, American Song, and Sirens of Song, and oversees all of Milwaukee Rep’s new plays in development. Brent is also a former member of the adjunct faculties of Carthage College and the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, and has taught developmental workshops at colleges, conservatories, and universities both locally and across the country. This season at Milwaukee Rep, Brent will direct McGuire, and is developing a theater event focusing on the life and music of Wisconsin native Les Paul.

Jayne Pink, Dialect Coach

Jayne is delighted to return to The Rep as dialect coach on this world premiere. She previously worked on The Norman Conquests for Joe Hanreddy and Happy Now? for Jon Jory, and as choreographic assistant on Cabaret. Born in London, England she has spent much of her professional life as a dancer, graduating from the Royal Ballet School in 1986 and joining Northern Ballet Theatre, where she quickly rose to the rank of principal dancer. She is best known for her created roles and close collaboration with Christopher Gable and Michael Pink on their landmark productions of Giselle, Dracula and Swan Lake. Most notable was her portrayal of Juliet, in NBT’s production of Romeo and Juliet for which she was hailed as one of Britain’s finest dramatic dancers. It

went on to be filmed by the BBC and was nominated for both a BAFTA and an Olivier award. In 2000 Jayne also enjoyed a season in Pantomime in the West End in Gillian Lynne’s production of Dick Whittington. After 14 years on tour she hung up her shoes to begin a family. In 2002 Jayne moved to the U.S with her husband Michael Pink and their two children She has since acted as repetiteur and coach, and Pilates instructor for Milwaukee Ballet, Boston Ballet, Royal New Zealand Ballet, Norwegian National Ballet and Colorado Ballet Companies. She is a passionate advocate for the power of theatre and storytelling. She would like to thank her friend and mentor Jill Walmsley Zager and Mark Clements for this wonderful opportunity.

JC Clementz, Casting Director

JC is the Casting Director at Steppenwolf Theatre Company. Prior to leaving for Chicago, he spent five years at The Rep, most recently as Artistic Associate Casting Director and Director of the Emerging Professional Residency. In addition to casting over 25 productions at The Rep, JC directed this season’s production of I Love A Piano, Devil’s Music: The Life and Blues of Bessie Smith, as well as The Doyle and Debbie Show, Forever Plaid, and five seasons of Rep Lab. JC traveled throughout Europe as the Assistant Stage Manager for New York Harlem Productions’ international tour of Porgy and Bess, and spent four summers working at Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts in the mountains of Colorado. He holds an MFA in Directing from Western Illinois University.

Frank Honts, Casting Director

Frank is honored to return to Milwaukee Rep in his first season as Casting Director and Director of the Emerging Professional Residency (EPR) program. Since spending the 2013-14 season at

The Rep as a directing EPR, Frank has worked at Utah Shakespeare Festival, Renaissance Theaterworks, The Goodman, A Contemporary Theatre (Seattle), and Paramount Theatre. Favorite directing credits include Hamlet and 9 Circles, and as a dramaturg, Frank has recently worked on West Side Story, Mr. Burns: a post-electric play, Amelia, and nearly a dozen Shakespeare plays. Frank spent two seasons as Artistic Associate at Forward Theater Company in Madison, and he was the inaugural recipient of the Michael Flachmann Fellowship at Utah Shakespeare Festival. He is a proud graduate of Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.

Lara Leigh Dalbey, Make-up/Hair/Wig Designer

Lara is happy to be returning to the beautiful Pabst Theater for her 18th A Christmas Carol. She is the Wig Master and Make-up Supervisor for The Rep. Her work has been seen at Arizona Opera and Skylight Music Theatre, Opera in the Ozarks, American Players Theatre and Writers’ Theatre.

Leda is thrilled to be working on A Christmas Carol for the third time, having served as Assistant and Children’s Director in 2010 and Associate Director in 2014. Becca happily returns to the A Christmas Carol stage management team this holiday season! She is honored and excited to be a part of this brand new production. Having started off her professional career with a Rep internship during the 2005/06 Season, she has been delighted to work on a variety of projects here since then, with favorites including Good People, An Iliad, and Next to Normal. Becca spends her time away from Milwaukee as a Stage Manager and Core Tech company member at American Players Theatre, where she has enjoyed ten seasons. Recent favorite SM credits there include An Ideal Husband, King Lear, and The Doctor’s Dilemma. Special thanks to Jared Clarkin and Kimberly Carolus for their support on this project.

Victoria is very excited to be joining Milwaukee Rep for the 2016 Season! A recent graduate of The University of Alabama at Birmingham, Victoria has a BA in theatre with a focus in stage management. She recently completed a season with the Oberlin Summer Theater Festival and a Southeastern tour of Tuxedo Junction with the Birmingham Children’s Theatre. Some of her favorite theatre credits include: SFB, In the Next Room and Peter and the Starcatcher. he was instrumental in the 2010 opening of the Mead Center for American Theater, a 200,000 square feet, three theater performing arts complex dedicated to American voices and playwrights. While at Arena Stage, he more than doubled earned revenue, reversed a decline in subscriptions by almost doubling the base, and shattered several company sales records that dated back almost 60 years. In addition, he worked on the Broadway transfers of Next to Normal (Pulitzer Prize; Tony Award), Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (Tony Award), Wishful Drinking starring Carrie Fisher, Looped starring Valerie Harper, and John Grisham’s A Time to Kill in addition to other notable plays including the world premieres of Marcus Gardley’s Every Tongue Confess starring Phylicia Rashad and Red Hot Patriot starring Kathleen Turner. Prior to Arena Stage, he was Director of Marketing and Communications for Americans for the Arts as well as Virginia Stage Company in Norfolk, VA. He is a frequent speaker and consultant with past clients that include the Smithsonian Institution, Pew Charitable Trust, Carnegie Hall, EmcArts

Innovation Labs, Arts & Business Council, Association of Performing Arts Presenters and ArtsMidwest. He has served as an adjunct professor at American University (Washington, DC), Drexel University (Philadelphia, PA) and CalArts (Valencia, CA). In addition to teaching, he is currently a Board member of Pathways High School, sits on the advisory boards of TRGArts and ArtsMarketing.org, and is a past trustee of Contemporary American Theater Festival. From 2011-2013, he was named one of the most influential leaders under 40 in Washington, DC by Washington Life Magazine, and in 2016 he was named to Milwaukee Business Journal’s list of the Top 40 leaders under 40. Bauman is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Strategic Perspectives in Non-Profit Management program, and has earned a Master of Fine Arts in producing from the CalArts where he was an Ahmanson Scholar and a Bachelor of Science in Education from the Honors College of Missouri State University. In his free time, he is proud to be a co-coach of Wauwatosa East High School’s Destination Imagination team.
