3. Quick Announcements from:a. CaC Scrub order updatei. 2018 Scrubs 1. Payments made October 25, 2014 (as per school records)2. NYUCD approved background check on RMF; payments received; order is reported to be in progress. ii. 2017 Scrubs in progress
b. SZ Social event after DOD exami. Event was well attended huge success!
c. NK Curriculum Updatei. General Pathology:1. Dr. Phelan gave back 4 questions.2. Email to be sent to class with details pertaining to the exact questions given back.3. Student to check grades and independently contact Dr. Phelan if there are any discrepancies and she will look into the matter.ii. DOD:1. Final Examination - points were given to the whole class. iii. Health Promotion II:1. 2 mandatory sessions attendance contributes to overall grade2. Guest speaker next class (Jan. 16, 2015) attendance is highly encouraged
d. TL website has been renewed
e. KT/EH - Coffee with the Deansi. Upcoming event planned for March 2015 (waiting on date confirmation)ii. Past event (Nov. 14, 2014) well received
f. VB Transcriptsi. Low interest likely not feasible for upcoming semester. ii. Looking into the idea of transcribing only 1 class Systems Pathology
g. DO/MS Alumni Affairs Updatei. Alumni Affairs was inducted (2014)ii. Proposed upcoming networking event 1. Event will match alumni with students based on various categories (i.e. speciality, interests, etc.)2. Event proposed to be held in Kimmel Centre in March 2015
h. EH/ML Oral Cancer Walki. Happy Hour event at the Promenade Wednesday, January 14, 20151. Proceeds from the event go to the Oral Cancer Walk2. Come out and support!
i. AB Outreach Updatei. Upcoming Lunch and Learn to talk and local outreach opportunities1. Date - TBD
