Monday Night Dance Ages 5-15. Kids who like to shake it but haven’t started with structured dance can start to learn. Coach
Bell Serrao teaches classes with an easy to learn style that introduces multiple styles of dance (hip-hop,
funky jazz, lyrical, and modern) in a fun and unique way. Classes are Registration is $7.00. *Advanced
Level must see Coach Bell for details.
Introduction to Clogging Club Ages 13 and older. Instructor Maggie Massey. Clogging is a type of dance much like Irish step dance
involving a shoe much like that of tap but with an extra tap on the toe and heel. Shoes will not be
required for introductory club. Please wear comfortable, flat shoes. With interest, an advanced club will
be added with the possibility of creating a competition team. Club practices will be every other week.

Kid’s Night Out Ages 5-15. It’s time for kid’s to take back the night! Parents, drop your kids off these select nights for a
night all to yourself. Children will receive dinner (pizza and drinks) and have time to watch movies on our
pull down projector screen. Children can bring a blanket, towel, or sleeping bag to lay on. All movies will
be rated G or PG.
Summer Movie Club All ages with an adult. Enjoy your favorite kid-friendly films at our summer movie series. Feel free to

Art Mini Camp
Ages 4-6. Craft it out in this one week long mini-camp. Each half day will be filled with different art
projects for young children to become inspired. Children should wear clothes that you won’t mind getting
dirty! Projects will be available to be taken home each day. Min 6/ Max 10
Nature Mini Camp Ages 7-9. Explore the outdoors in this brief half-day week long camp completely about nature. The camp
will cover topics such as trees, bugs, birds, habitats and much more. Children should wear closed toed

Power Pilates Ages 15-55. Instructor Chelsy Cox. Power Pilates is an energizing workout that allows you to push
yourself through controlled, precise movements designed to stretch and strengthen lean muscle all to a
twist of house music. It will leave you feeling sweaty and satisfied as you watch your goals bloom. If you
are wanting lean and toned muscle while finding how truly strong you are, this is the class for you!
Zumba Ages 15-55. Instructor Anna Valle. Anna is a licensed Zumba Instructor and loves teaching Zumba
classes. Every class will feel like a party! Whether you consider yourself a dancer or not, you will enjoy
every class. It’s really simple to do, just move your body and follow Anna’s lead. Come join and you’ll see
what she means. You will have so much fun, you’ll forget that you’re working out. Anna guarantees you’ll

Simple Stretches

Healthy Lifestyles
Ages 12 and up. Instructor Belinda Rayner of Harnett County Health Department. This four week course
will cover a variety of health and nutritional topics such as eating fewer calories, rethinking your drinks,

Weight Watchers Meeting
Weight Watchers is a corporate entity that holds their weekly meetings at the Lillington Community
Center. All fees are separate from Lillington Parks & Recreation. Interested participants should contact
the Weight Watchers representative at meeting held every Tuesday night at 6pm.

Lunch Bingo Ages 55 and older. It’s the fun of Bingo and the enjoyment of lunch with friends. With each card you
can earn tickets redeemable for lunch items such as pizza slices, sandwiches, hotdogs, drinks and
additional seasonal items. Program will begin March 19.
Senior Socials
Ages 55 and older. Catch up you friends, the community, and what’s happening in the world. Feel free
to bring snacks, newspapers, and anything else you’d like to share! Cards and board games will be
available to play. Coffee will be provided. Will not meet April 9th. Program will begin 3/26.
Prime Time for Seniors Club
Ages 55 and older. Meets at the Community Center the second Wednesday of each month from
11:00am-1:00pm. Social events for the Prime Time Senior Social Club include but are not limited to:
monthly pot luck lunch meetings, trips, and other exciting activities. Come out and join the club!
Membership is taken directly by Prime Time at each meeting.

Leagues Ages vary. The Town of Lillington offers seasonal athletic programs for youth and adults. Registration
Fees do not include additional uniform purchases. All players, coaches, spectators, and other
participants who attend games, practices, and events scheduled on Harnett County School Campuses
must abide by these additional Harnett County School System rules: No Pets, No Smoking, and No
Firearms. All participants, volunteers, and spectators are expected to adhere to the Town of Lillington

Lillington Area Booster Club Mission Statement
The goal of the Lillington Area Booster Club (LABC) is to enhance and promote the athletic opportunities for all
student athletes in Lillington Area. The LABC, along with our volunteers and coaches, recognize the qualities
needed promote lasting values which will stay with our athletes long after they leave the Lillington Parks and
Recreation Program. Our Mission is to:
1. Increase the participation of parents and athletes in the athletic program;
2. Provide supplementary funding for the athletic department;
3. Promote sportsmanship, and community involvement in the Lillington Parks and Recreation program.
We will achieve these goals by organizing events, fundraisers and assist in building the Pride and Spirit in
Lillington Athletics!

Hunter Education Ages 10 and older. The Hunter Education Program of the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission provides
free hunter education courses throughout the year in every county. More than a firearm safety course,
instruction includes ethics and responsibility, conservation and wildlife management, wildlife
identification, survival and first aid, specialty hunting and tree stand safety. There are no minimum age
requirements, however, classes are taught at a sixth grade level and tests must be completed without
assistance. Courses are a minimum of 6 hours, taught by wildlife officers, hunter education specialists
and certified volunteer instructors, and certification is accepted in every state and province in North
America Pre-registration with the N.C. Wildlife is required before attending.
Boating Safety Ages 10 & older. Free NASBLA-approved courses are taught by wildlife officers throughout the year. In
North Carolina, any person born on or after January 1, 1988 must complete a NASBLA approved boating
education course before operating any vessel propelled by a motor of 10 HP or greater on public
waterways. There is no minimum age requirement, however, coursework is at a sixth grade level, and a
comprehensive written exam must be completed unassisted. Pre-registration with the N.C. Wildlife is
required before attending.
