Mike, Jenna, Trent, Michael We see RUPERT the ant woken up by his son, JIFF who is jumping on his bed, flailing his arms, asking to play. He is sleeping on a bed of pollen with a blanket made out of a flower pedal. Rupert’s wife, PEENELOPE, comes in and tells Jiff to stop pestering his dad and that he will be able to play once he gets his chores finished. We see Rupert climbing up bark on a tree going to get food (leaves) for QUEEN ELIZABETH, the queen ant of the colony. He is tired, panting, and exhausted. We hear Rupert speak to himself and complain about the long hours and monotony of his life, taking away from time he wants to be spending with his family. He hates having to give away portions of his food to the Queen. We see Rupert entering his ant farm and into Queen Elizabeth’s chambers. Queen Elizabeth Rupert, what do you have for me today? Rupert Well, your majesty, I have 1/19 th of a leaf for you today. I was wondering if I could bring some extra home food because its my son’s birthday We see Jiff blowing out the ant-sized candles on his funfetti cake crumb that his dad found in the garbage nearby. Rupert applauds for his son with the rest of his family. Jiff Dad, you can have my piece ‘cus you brought it back! Rupert (tearing up) No son, its your birthday. I got this cake for you. We see Rupert lying in bed thinking about his son and wife. He is daydreaming about humans and being able to provide for his family without spending a whole day working just to

We see RUPERT the ant woken up by his son, JIFF who is jumping on his bed, flailing his arms, asking to play. He is sleeping on a bed of pollen with a blanket made out of a flower pedal. Rupert’s wife, PEENELOPE, comes in and tells Jiff to stop pestering his dad and that he will be able to play once he gets his chores finished.

We see Rupert climbing up bark on a tree going to get food (leaves) for QUEEN ELIZABETH, the queen ant of the colony. He is tired, panting, and exhausted. He loves them and wishes that he didn’t have to serve the Queen first. The camera zooms into Rupert’s eyes as he dozes off to sleep

The camera zooms away from human eyes. Rupert awakes in a bed. His human wife, STACEY’s alarm goes off.

Stacey yells at Rupert for waking up too late and having no idea what was going on.

We see Rupert and his human family sitting around the kitchen table singing happy birthday to Trenton. There is a large Carvel ice cream cake with candles and breakfast (eggs, waffles, cinnamon rolls, coffee) on the table. Rupert is sitting in awe.

Later, Rupert is lying in bed with Stacey, who is complaining about how she wants more clothes. He wishes that he could go back to being an ant, with fewer worries. The camera zooms into his eyes as he dozes off to sleep

The camera zooms out of Rupert the ant’s eyes as he wakes up. He jumps out of bed, eager to start the day with his son.

We see Rupert bringing home mounds of food for the Queen, who now favors Rupert because he always brings back an abundant amount of food for the colony with joy.

We see Rupert picnicking on the top of the anthill with his wife and son.
